arimidex, test and no luck after 2 years on trt!!!!

My e2 was 46 on 60mg shots of test every 3 days and arimidex every 5 day but nothing happened, no libido ect. Well the first two weeks on doing shots every 3 days my e2 went down and sex drive kicked in but went away after that week and e2 went to 46.

So my doc wanted me to take .25 arimidex every day and do shots once a week instead of every 3 days and cut my weekly dose of test from 125mg to 100mg. So far its been two weeks on arimidex .25 per day and all I've gained is morning wood( good but not great) and at first a little increase in sexual thoughts but I took yohimbe dose one day to see if it would treat premature ejaculation and the next day I felt like shit and the little libido increase is gone for the last 4 days.

ssri make me to drowsy and kill any libido so I'm screwed in the premature ejaculation department. But I f I can gain my libido that is #1 priority.

When I was doing 125mg per week once a week months ago I took arimidex .25 every 5 days and it made me feel clear headed and better. Now I'm on 100mg per week as off two weeks ago and started .25 arimidex and nothing. My e2 at that time of doing 125mg a week was 37 before arimidex and after was 27.8

I just cant seem to ever get my libido to work and its been two years on trt, gel then shots!!!!!
Only recently was I put on arimidex.

Your changing things to much I would have stayed on the 60 mgs every 3 days and just did more arimidex like every 3 days. I post this all the time between wood and blood work you should be able to keep E2 in check you tested 46 just a little to high. All I would have done would be to go from every 5 days on arimidex to every 3 days this would have worked. Now your back to base one. Where your levels to high at 60 mgs every 3 days if not what was the point in going back to every week. Gee I feel you were so close to having this under control. You need to have your Total and Free T levels up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range for a young man. Then work on getting your E2 down between 10 to 30 pg/ml and all you change when you get to this point is the Arimidex. Now I am betting you crashing from lowering your does.

#1, like Phil said, you are changing too much

#2, you have to do frequent blood testing
at first to figure out proper dose for Testosterone, you want to be about at the top in

FreeT

then you have to check Ultra-Sensitive Estrodial E2
there are other estrogens and other stuff that you need to act on.
It gets deeper as you go in.
Read the board.

Where are you other readings at ft3 ft4, shbg, dht, progesterone, dhea?
If these are all in check next step look towards neurotransmitters - lack of dopamine, serotonin imbalances
Have you addressed adrenals and thyroid

My doc only addressed E2 because I complianed about it. He checked nothing else but free t and total t. He is the one who told me to drop dose and take more arimidex because he eventaully wants to keep increasing arimidex and lowering test so I come off. Then he want me to take clomid and arimidex because he says I'm a health male and shouldn't be on test. But with out test I still will have no libido!!!!!!

I so pissed that things started to work and then my e2 went up and lost libido, it suck. But I'm even more pissed that my doc wants me to try to come off of everything and gain my libido just on my own. The last two week I've done the shots once a week.

Should I consider going back to every 3 days?

And as far as the dose my doc told me to lower it so if I'm crashing how long will I have to deal with the crash before I feel ok agian ?

I still have wood in morning (good but not great).

No to much moving from one thing to the other is just making things worse try and get your E2 in the zone on the shots every week it been 2 weeks if you were going to crash you would have done so by now and not feel go enough for morning wood.

I guess I'm just gonna suck it up and tough it out. I'm just wondering if .25 arimidex every day is to much because my doc wants me to do it this way. I've been on .25 every day for two weeks but never felt yet that my e2 is to low I feel it may be in the right range because I have wood in morning. Do you think that even if my e2 is in the right range now that the only reason I have no libido is because my test levels have changed because the dose changed two weeks ago.

i have had many of same issues and am still batteling...please not all dr's have no clue..including the one who claims he does!
i think u ar e throwing to many things at your body.
i am gonna try 2 shots a week and a-dex 2x per week but small dose ofa-dex like 1/4 tab..remember a-dex really kills e and too low e hurts.. stay consistant...

How about you do this using some system.
1. forget libido, night wood etc
2. concentrate on figuring your dose of testosterone, do not change it latter on.
3. start worrying about estrogens, all of them, not only E2
4. fine tune E2, so you get your erections

Otherwise you chasing your tail, just frustration.
