You know the ones I am talking about. I have a doc who is a friend. He likes to help with my HRT, but he is limited by he lack of specialized knowledge on the subject and or course the fear that involving himself in this kind of treatment might cause problems with BC/BS, or worse, a controlling entity. Anyway I am trying to help provide him some data so that he can use to compare with what he comes up with so that I can help him to become more educated on these matters. Considering and average BC/BS policy with good coverage, drugs at $10, doctor visits at $30, etc. What would be a proper testing and evaluation protocol accepted by BC/BS and the applicable and associated codes?? For example, obviously he should be doing my bloodwork 2wice a year, but does BC/BS frown on this and light him up for it same.?? Second, there is a gammit of bloodwork that can apply. Which tests would be considered acceptable and not get a bunch of shit from the company. Would it be
Testosterone, Free
test, and LH only? I am guessing they are too stupid to allow for E2 work as readily... Can someone please elaborate. I would greatly appreaciate a list of proceedure codes as they apply as well. Thanks in advance

Now I am going to start holding my breath because no doctor around here is afraid of BC/BS now are they??
Also feel free to PM me...
