I just located an anti-aging clinic in my area that provides this treatment. How is this different than synthetics? What is it? The fees involved for testing and monitoring hormone levels are the same. Just to set up an appointment over the phone they want to charge $600. They claim that it's a better way to go because it is natural. |
There is a fair amount of marketing mumbo-jumbo involved in HRT terminology.
YES, you should be getting bio-identical HRT, which essentially means that if you get testerone replacement therapy, the hormone you are getting is testosterone, and not some other anabolic steroid that does not naturally exist in the human body.
But there is no such thing as "natural" testosterone. It is all synthetic, although the molecule is identical to your own natural testosterone.
