% Free Testosterone-1.99 (1.1-2.8)
Tesosterone, Free-107.2 (40.-150.0)
DHT-31 (25-75)

Prolactin was not recorded. My Endo said that my Nasonex (nasal spray) would cause a my testosterone levels to drop. She said that a steroid being sprayed so close to the pitutary gland would alter my levels. I have also been off Propecia for 2 months now, so maybe my body is just recovering.

any thoughts on my numbers and the Endo's words.

thanks,
J

I take Nasonex... Does this drug really cause a drop in T levels? Those are significant changes in a pretty short time period. I'm kind of concerned...

There are a few hits - VERY few hits- in MEDLINE that suggest that inhaled steroids can suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. Nothing about any effect on the HPTA. Could they have such a selective effect, or could they have a more general suppressive efffect that would effect the HPTA? I hope Swale weighs in on this one.
