Does Clomid have a place in HRT/ restart?

I understand that guys that are attempting to restart after AAS use start w/ HCG and then cycle into Clomid.

What exactly does Clomid due different from HCG and should I speak to my Dr. about this option?

HCG replaces your LH but suppresses your natural LH. Clomid can stimulate your own LH and possibly restart. I've been using clomid a couple of times per year to kick up my natural testosterone, even though I never used AAS. Once I fix my sleep problems I don't expect to need it anymore.
