Has anyone written Dr.Crisler and does he return emails. I just wanted to know before I send anything.

Dr. Crisler just served as co-host for the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine International Congress in Chicago last weekend with Dr. Mark Gordon so he is probably behind on his email.

Back in December, before joining this board, and coming across Dr. Crisler's website, I e-mailed him and he returned my e-mail in less than 24 hours.

Sometimes he answers within a day or two, other times the turnaround can be close to two weeks.

I have referred a number of people to him. The biggest complaint they have is the e-mail communication which is extremely inefficient. Unfortunately, I don't believe he does phone consultations.

Yeah, but how often do you get to email your doc? You can always email Kim, his assistant, as well.

We are friends and talk by Email a lot he gets back to me fast if he is not out of town.

I emailed him and apparently now the only way he will advise is to schedule a day trip to his office,or to have your primary care physician contact him on your behalf. I had thought you could consult with him without an actual visit, but he doesn't do that anymore.

I don't think it's about him not wanting to do this but the law one can't treat over the net anymore.

He stopped that a long time ago. In many states, the law considers email-only contact insufficient to establish a doctor-patient relationship, and therefore, the doc cannot give medical advice or prescribe in these situations.

After your initial visit, though, pretty much everything happens by e-mail.

His messageboard drama is incredibly boring.

His behavior and the way he carries on on the boards takes away from all the good info that he has to share. It's too bad.

So get this, my above comments were soooooo awful and hurtful that somebody from this board felt it necessary to take time out of their day to email them to SWALE.....and then I received a PM on Mind and Muscle from SWALE bitching me out and telling me I'm the first to be banned from the new messageboard that he's creating. LOL. I'm devastated.

Unfreakin believable. The immaturity is truly astounding.

So beware everyone, if you're somewhat critical of SWALE on a messageboard (in which the basic premise is free expression of opinion)....he has eyes and ears everywhere and will find you and make you pay!!!!!!

I have to admit that when I read your original comments in this thread, my first thoughts were, "What the hell does that have to do with this thread? Why do you feel compelled to take shots at a guy who you probably have benefitted from and who has been banned here so he can't even see your comments...or are you making those comments BECAUSE he cannot see them?

You seem surprised that someone would forward your comments to SWALE. I am not the one who forwarded them, but what would you do if someone posted something negative about a friend of yours in a forum where he could not see them? I have a hunch that you might tell your friend about the comments.

As far as him banning you from any message board that he may create goes, who would blame him? He would be free to use the board to help the people he chooses to help...for free by the way...and he would be free to choose not to help people that jump into a thread to make negative comments that are off-subject, in a forum where he has no access.

Just my 2 cents...
