Default DR-M Neuro transmitter results

I just got my neurotransmitters done and despire all the 5htp, theaine, gaba, tyrosine, sam-e...All of my levels were flat lined. at below low levels. Glutamine, glycine, 5hiaa, dopamine, ephepherine, nor ephi, gaba, was low. I am wondering if glutamine was higher that glumate would also be. For some reason taking 300 mgs 5htp, 1000 mg BID, theanine 200 mgs every 8-10 hours, 200 mgs sam-e BID were not doing shit. I also had estrogen levels tanked which may have been affecting these neurotranmitters as I have found in research from DR M and clinical studies. The fucked up thing was that I was already doing what they recommended for over a year !! SO WHAT GIVES !!!

Could altered insulin function cause the inability to transport tyroisine, 5 htps, into the cell. I take all of these on empty stomach not near protein source with out carb source. Does one need a 4 oz glass of juice to help transport across the cell membrane.

I know you have done some Genova testing.
Have you done

so how did you feel on this regime? did you notice any benefits as opposed to without the 5-htp and so forth.. since levels didn't change it could be placebo that you felt different?

Could you list the test results of NTs in question?
Also your current supplementation protocol.

I'll delve into this.

Actually looking into this what does all this have in common. LOW CORITSOL and HYPOTHYROIDISM.
I also have an suspicion that copper biounavailablity from low cortisol out put is behind causing this issue. Every time I tested ceruoplasm it was LOW ...and how can that be because I have plenty of copper in my cells, but it does not identifie free or bounded copper (it's just copper). I have low HDL and low cholesterol levels which copper is used to moves cholesterol from the liver to the serum which is a huge piece of the puzzle. Copper also is esential for catecholamines metabolism as well as MAO's as well. BOTTOM LINE IS COPPER IMBALANCE DUE TO ADRENAL INSUFFIENCY affecting thyroid function which can affect neurotranmistters...
I have low platelet counts, low triglycerides, low cholesterol, low HDL, low alkaline phosphate (low thyroid adrenals function). So the evidence is very strong. I just increased cortisol from 15 mgs a day to 25 mgs a for a week to see if I will feel bettter. I think alot of my issue is not thyroid dysfunction but bodies inabilitty to use it properly..

Do you supplement with copper since it is biounavailable? Or are you just trying to increase bioavailability due to a suspected high copper storage?

I supplement 3mg per day due to the same reason. With the ibuprofen I take for my back, the copper really improves it's effectiveness, and has totally eliminated any stomach problems/ulcers.

Could you define 'copper effectiveness'? I've been taking copper after a SpectraCell test but have no idea if its even doing anything...

decreased copper levels can be from P5P deficiency as well. Thats why I pumped mine up to 200 mgs a day to see if I feel a difference with symptoms since all those transmittters run off of P5P..
