Default Endo says my levels are normal?

So I was very excited today because I was scheduled to see an endocrinologist, Dr. Priscilla Hollander. I had been looking forward to this for the past month because thats how I have had to wait to see her, So I figured she'd be able to help. Well, after waiting nearly an hour she came in. She looked at my blood work (thanks to this site i knew what blood tests to get mostly) and then she said I was fine. She said my testosterone levels where normal and I should mess with it because it can be dangerous, its a controlled substance blah blah. I almost lost it.
Oh yeah, Here are the results from my last 2 blood tests. I am a 21 year old male in Dallas, tx.
The numbers are on the far right are reference ranges

Your testosterone levels although they are not high are not bad really. And about at the 500 range.

BY reading the beginning of your paragraph I thought your levels were going to be at 246 and the endo was going to say since your above 241 or some other arbitrary number then you were just fine.

You would probably have more luck tweaking some of your toher hormones to raise your t.

If your really adamant about rasing them to a much higher number then you should try clomid.
When you at abnout 500 like you are there is NO reason to shut down yoru system with exogenous T.

IMPO

Your TSH is high. You probably need that worked out somehow.

The first thing I need to say is I am not a Dr. but have been on TRT 27 yrs helping men on the forums. I have found Endo's are not good Dr. 's for your problems.
Your T levels are that of a man 75 to 84 yrs of age yes your in the normal range but for a man this age.

What time of the morning did you go them labs if it was later your levels can be even higher.

I see your LH is low but this fires on and off very fast. Still your FSH is on the low side.

Your IGF-1 is high this can't be good did you see the girl on the news the other day she went to the war and come home 2x's her size and is still growing she has a tumor on her Pituitary making he growth hormone levels go up to high doing this. I feel to be safe you need an MRI on your Pituitary to rule out a tumor. It's rare to be cancer but to have low levels of LH and FSH with high levels of IGF-1 to me this is a flag going up.

I have a pituitary problem I know about this.

Your Estraidol levels are way to dam low do you take some thing to lower it if not this is part of why your feeling the way you are and it can kill your sex life I am betting you don't get night time and morning wood.

Your Thyroid TSH is high any thing above 2 is a flag going up. This means our brain dose not think your thyroid hormones are high enough and asking for more.

Do this home test.
Thyroid Self-Testing by Basal Temperature (originated by Dr. Broda Barnes)

You can get your Estradiol level up taking 50 mgs of DHEA 2x's a day but get an MRI first. And find a better Dr.

What was the reason for seeing the doctor? I can sense your excitement, but why?

I read the weakness and fatigue, which are general constitutional symptoms. Can you elaborate?

What are your current medications (prescription and nonprescription) and OTC supplements?

Do you have any current medical diagnoses?

These are needed to reply adequately.

Most ranges I've ever seen for both LH & FSh tend to be 0 - 12 U/l so on the basis of your reading of 5.2 this would appear to be pretty much middle of the range but certainly not on the low side suggested by pgamer

LH is pulsatile in nature and has a shorter half-life than FSh therefore difficult to read too much into this reading

I think it would be best to get another comprehensive panel of results though if you still have symptoms as levels fluctuate anyway depending on your lifestyle/diet at the time and measurement error can also cause erroneous results

You have some comprehensive and extensive blood tests there and they are all well within the normal range.
Your only complaint is " fatigue and weakness". You must elaborate if you expect help here.
I am especially interested in your internal life. What goes on between your ears? Are you happy? Any financial or emotional stresses since the fatigue and weakness became a problem? Any family history of depression? Any previous steroid use? Do you exercise? I could go on but think you get the idea.
I honestly dont see a problem with any of your labs.
Elaborate Please!

Well, I have extreme fatigue, muscle weakness and general lethargy. I didn't used to feel this bad, it just sort of happened when i was younger. The only medicine I take is prozac but i dont think I have clinical depression i think im depressed because Im so damn tired. I sleep fine. Some doctors think its chronic fatigue syndrome but I refuse to accept that as there is nothing i can do to change that. I changed my diet I excercise dont drink/drugs and i have pretty good sleeping habits yet im always tired. I like to think I take really good care of myself yet I feel like an old man. The only time I feel decent at all is after I work out but it doesnt last long and its really really hard for me to do it just cause Im so exhausted. Are there any other tests I should get? My last test that hasnt come back yet tested fro vitamin d. also both tests i fasted and got around 9 am. Thank you for all your help.

Prozac can lower T. Perhaps you could stop it or switch to another anti-depressant unless the prozac works well for you.

Your TSH could suggest thyroid problems. I suppose your familiar with the term adrenal fatigue too. Can't blame your doctor for saying your T levels are normal. I agree that it would be more encouraging to see them around 700, but for a doctor 460 is about mid range.

well this happened when i was about 16... I missed a year of school because I was very sick (too nauseaus to eat, very skinny).None of the doctors really knew what it was. I saw an endo back then when i was 17 or so and he said it was my thyroid, hypothyroid. so he gave me thyroxine i think but then my thyroid was too high so they had to get it back down. This all happened after I was taking alot of soy supplements, so i think that was what caused this... Im now 21 and nothing I seem to do helps. I read that soy can mess up hormones and that led me here. but i know it isnt depression and I read about the symptoms of testosterone and I swear i have them all.
