Default Ferritn

Does anyone know the affect of T on Ferritin levels. My RBC had increased on T and noticed that my Ferritin levels dropped.

iron is used to make red blood cells so I guess it makes sense if your RBC went up your ferritin would go down at least temporarily. Ferritin also can rise with any sickness or inflamation. Have you just gotten over anything that could cause the drop? How much did your RBC go up and your ferritin down?

My F was 39 since 2003. Had it checked in May of 05 and it was 39. Went on in May and in Dec it dropped to 18. My RBC went up from 5.5 to 5.9
range 4.2-5.8.

I had the same though about RBC going up and using the stored iron. I was wondering if anyone else had that.
