hCG questions

Quick history: I've been on androgel for a year now, one packet daily. I take a couple drops of liquid arimidex every morning (equates to roughly .25mg e3d).

My T level as of now is 773 on a scale ~200-800

I was prescribed hCG today, one vial of 10,000 IUs of Novarel (brand).

Along with my prescription came 30 mLs of bacteriostatic water, and a bunch of 25 gauge 1" needles.

My question is this:

Can I do a subcutaneous shot with a 1" needle? The Novarel box says "intramuscular only", why? And do I just add the bacteriostatic water directly into the vial of hCG?

I was thinking about mixing 1 mL of water with the hCG, then sucking that up and putting it into the rest of the 30 mL vial of water, making ~333IU/mL concentration. Is this correct?

Don't use a 1" 25G needle to inject subcutaneously. Get insulin syringes that had 31 gauge 1/2" or shorter needles. You should be able to get those without prescription (depends on where you live), or order online.

The doctor that prescribed the hCG should have explained how to reconstitute it.

When reconstituting it, do as directed on the box. 10mL for 10,000 iu gives you 1000iu per mL. This gives you a 1:1 concentration.

You should have one big syringe and needle just for this purpose. Inject the water slowly against the inner wall of the vial, not direcly onto the HCG powder.

hCG proteins are very fragile.

DO NOT SHAKE the vial to mix. Swirl the solution around gently until it is all dissvolved.

To get 333iu you then need to inject 0.33mL.

Definitely inject subcutaneously within 6 inches of your navel. Grab the skin and fat, swab with alcohol and inject. I've been doing it that way for 4 years, no problems.
