I just turned 51 and continue to train regularly. I am in great shape with BF around 12% and fairly good strength. My problem is a soft area just below my naval that seems to stick out a bit on a side view. I have fairly good abs, no love handles and no fat in my pecs. I'm thinking my estrogen is creeping up and that's why I have this soft area below my naval. I was wondering if it would be of any benefit to take an anti-e by itself, or even an otc product like 6oxo or Alri's ultra hot. My test level tested out at 365 a few months ago. I appreciate all feedback and comments...thanks

roadkill: Guys typically add weight in the abdominal area and women tend to add fat in the butt and thigh area. Thus, I think your analysis is flawed. But if you are concerned, then get a blood test for estradiol (now sensitive version available). Yes, abdominal fat is very frustrating (and very unhealthy), but there is no magical cure for it. I suggest that you quit all of the hormone-related supplements for at least a month and then get another bloodtest that should at least include: total testosterone free testosterone estradiol (sensitive) Last edited by mranak; 06-03-2005 at 10:00 AM. |
