 High androstenedione low testosterone
I had saliva tests which show high Androstenedione 557 (151-350 pg/ml) yet low Testosterone 31 (40-80 pg/ml) and wonder if the enzyme 17B-HSD has been affected. However DHT is mid-range and estrogen also. I took Finasteride for 3.5 yrs but stopped also 3.5 yrs ago, and I went through a period of intense stress lasting 1.5 yrs that I got over 4 yrs ago (at least sources of stress disappeared). However my body has been experiencing continuous wasting of the muscles, brain fog, loss of concentration, constipation and lately less ability to get erections. Other results show Progesterone near upper limit, Cortisol elevated in the morning and depressed the rest of the day. Can anyone give me any advice? Contributions will be much appreciated.
