I have read that DHT can be pro-inflammatory. Has anyone looked into this?

DHT is often misunderstood. The facts are that:
1.
DHT is produced from T by 5 reductase enzymes
2.
DHT has ~10 times the receptor affinity as T and is therefor more potent
3.
DHT levels determine libido than T. this is why Finasteride kills libido so effectively
4.
DHT is more responsible for male pattern baldness and BPH than T
5. the source of the T doesnt effect the serum
DHT level. the enzyme acts at the cellular level
This is all that comes to mind at the moment.
