High Estrones+Estroils indicate low Iodine levels

Hi,

Just wondering if high Estrone, Estriol levels and low Estradiol levels can indicate low Iodine levels ?

This can be a very good possibility, but I did speak to a ND about iodine and he is very skeptical of the loading test. He said if your spot is low then it is a better indicator of iodine defieincy. He said some people can tolerate and have no side effects, but others it can cause them to respond very similar to hashimotios and actually increase antibodies..So just be very cautious and make sure that is is needed. What one can be one persons gold can be another person's posion.

Im getting my FT3 results in hopefully this week.This should let me know if I have a thyroid problem as my morning cortisol came in at 4.1 ( 3.7 - 9 )

Btw how did your rhiens test go ?

Rheins test turned out PERFECT except for the pregnolone gel and hcg I was taking was rasiing the metabolite ofr progesterone too high so the dr from rhiens suggested to stop the 50 mgs preg cream and keep hcg in tact. Being off cortef for 2 weeks resulting in perfect cortisol readings and adrenal functions. He wants me to taper off of it now slowly. 2 and 16, 4 hydroxy all incheck, All in all excellent reading. He compliment my TRT protocol was well dialed in no changes to be made. The guy knows his shit. With iodine he said there is no clinical proof. All informationn he provides is from clinical evidence which reason I enjoy talking to him., There is no bullshit info but only scientific proof with real data.

How long did you have too stick with cortef for?

Seems like you have the same problem as me with the
High Progesterone. I was taking Reset Ad 3 caps ED 75mg of Preg total and HCG 250iu shot E2D.

It raised my Progesterone levels too 4230 with range from 20-100. Zrt asked if I was taking Progesterone cream which Ived touched. I had thought oral Pregnolone has poor absorbtion.

Explains my shat libido and pines shrinkage.

HAN do you know of anything that can raise dht too lower Progesterone ? I have a feeling that dht is low from high Prog and getting blood tests too confirm.

I have low shbg 18 (12-48) so DS Activate is out of the question even at 1 cap a day .. seemed too make me very tired as probably dropped shbg too low.

Dht gel ? Small dose ... 1/4 dose 1.25mg rubbed on balls ?
It can cause shut down I think and dont want too do this as
Im in the middle of using FSH+LH+IGF-1+Vit E too try start my HPTA.

serum perfect
urine way above the upper range. thats with out hcg or pregenolone gel
increase dht - testosterone gel compounded in combination with hcg is what may be suggested to practioner.
You have over reactive 5 alpha reductase which is usually a result of prior propecia usage. For some reason guys have low dht and high e2. Elevated estrones is usally indicator of taking of adex since body senses it has enough e2 the rest is converted to estrone. I suggest you get the rhiens urine test. This has been a huge help in clincal settings. Salvia is good for some hormones not for others.

Is the Rheins Urine test similar too the Nutra Eval test ?(Metabolic)

Just got some new tests done :

Free T3 4.5 2.5 - 6.5
SHBG 16 15 - 48
IGF-1 277 100 - 300
PSA 2.5 0.5 - 5 Optimal 0.5 - 2

Will be checking my Insulin next as my low Shbg levels could indicate an Insulin resistance problem.

Han is it ok too do the Rheins Urine test while doing a Hmg+Igf-1 procotol for TRT ?

Im just past my 3rd week of doing 225ius FSH+LH ED for 7 days and 3 days off plus IGF-1 40mcg EDx2 after 1 year of TRT.

Good call on the shbg -investigate insulin resistance as well as RBC fatty acid from genova will give a logical explaination most likely coming from elevated AA ratio and siliet inflammation. GLa is probalby low and parent EFA. cell membranes are probably stiff not letting insulin singal to bind so more is needed. PSA examine 2, 16, 4 hydroxy esterones. IGF 40 mcgs x 2 is basicallyt what bodybiulders use so this could be pushing up your PSA, what about dhea, low dhea = insulin resistance ..where are you located >

examine fiber intake i bet you are getting about 12-15 grams a day because this can actually reflect your shbg..
women with PCOS they are suggested fiber to increase shbg, same principles apply it slows down insulin.

Great advice as usual Han, i really appreciate it alot. You are far more helpful than the 3 seperate doctors Ive seen and also the Endo.

I received my Genova Insulin resistance blood test kit today.

Tests ordered :

Insulin
Cholesterol & Lipid screen
Glucose
C Reactive Protein(HS)
Glycosolated Haemoglobin HbA1c

Will ask Genova too add the RBC fatty Acid

It has 3 blood tubes and 1 needle. I dont have a doctor who is willing too help me here and Ive seen plenty since 2006.

I pay out my pocket for all my blood/saliva/urine tests.

One Dr blamed my adrenal fatigue, sexual exhaustion, migraines, Hypogonadsm and peyronies disease from taking multi vitamins.
She recommended me too stop taking the multi vitamins from LEF for 6 months and it would get better.

Her actual words.

Another tried too give anti depressants and the Endo gave me Ibuprofen too take for 6 months. I didnt take these.

Ive been taking t shots since 07.
Is their anything I need too watch out for when trying too
take blood from myself for the first time ?

Dheas 9.9 ng/ml 2-23(Age dependant) It seems too fall in range for a 30-50 yr old from ZRT chart. Iam aged 24.

Yes your spot on about the fibre intake. Before Monday it was around 15-20grams a day. Since Monday I have increased too 40-50grams a day.

I think I will give it 30 days after Hmg therapy for the Rheins/Eval/Insulin tests. This should be plenty of time too not alter the tests.

Lastly would taking Hmg affect Cortisol saliva testing levels?
Iam about too check morning,noon,afternoon and evening cortisol levels as morning cort came in at 4.1 3.7 - 9.0

What do you think Han ?
