Default hormone help

Hello all, I am a 21 year old male and i have been battling fatigue for years. I have gone to many doctors, had many tests done but so far to no avail. However, at my last doctors appointment I decided to ask for as many tests as I could to rule things out (pesticides, heavy metals, etc.) as well as testosterone. Now my doctors an idiot and told me my testosterone of 309 ng/dl is normal because the test said it was within range. I guess he didnt realize I'm not an 80 year old man. After doing some research through google I luckily found myself here. After reading some posts I realized you members know your stuff and could possibly help me out. I have been struggling since i was 15 and i believe I finally might have found the cause of all my fatigue, weakness, insomnia, etc. I read some posts and got a 1st round of tests, they seem low but i was hoping for some feedback.
Here are my blood results as of November 13 2009:

Testosterone, Serum: 469 ng/dl
Testosterone, Free: 11.82 ng/dl
% free testosterone: 2.52
Dihydrotestosterone: 43 ng/dl
LH:2.0 mIU/ml
FSH 5.2 mIU/mL
Insulin-Like Growth Factor I 347 H ng/mL
Cortisol 19.3 ug/dL
DHEA-Sulfate 294 ug/dL
Prolactin 12.4 ng/mL
Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum 23 nmol/L

I have an appointment with an endocrinologist in 2 weeks but I was wondering if I should go ahead and order some more tests (estrogen, thyroid?). Any help would be greatly appreciated, as so far I have had to do this all by myself without any help and its quite confusing. I force myself to exercise even though I'm so tired, yet afterwards is the only time I ever feel good. I have some muscle but I am alot weaker than I should be. Also I should note that I used to take soy supplements. A LOT of soy supplements. I think that may have caused this.

Hey bro I am 16 years old and you know what lifes not great with low test levels. I am currently taking clomid and feeling a tad bit better. I have been dealing with this for a year and a half. I know a lot about hormones the big picture is not only testosterone but other factors. Good job on trying to get as much tested as possible. It took me long enough to find that doctors don't do much except tell you hey your normal almost no matter what when it comes to testosterone. There is a huge lack of education and normal testosterone levels in men in the medical department. I had 3 tests done coming out at 253, 404, and 466 and I feel like crap even though I am above normal. How could this be that I am normal and feeling like this. You need to go to a hypogonadism specialist. Luckily I have found one in the area I live in who was extremly understanding and was reading to help. I live in maryland. Just keep going to doctors or your endocrinologist and think of it like I did. The more blood tests you get the more info you get about how exactly your body is working and how you can fix it. Convince your endo to get as many tests as possible. Then you should move on to a hypogonadism specialist who will help because endos will end up screwing you unless you are primary hyponadism which I dought. I luckily got a doctor who works along side with dr. shippen and follows the same protocols. I a little better but I have only been taking clomid for 2 days lol. Soy can have some bad effects on but I don't know exact details. Do your research and get as much knowledge as possible. I also know of some supplements that can help you out alot. My father is an herbalist, he has also traveled around the world and done massive amounts of research. I felt super weak before I started on vitamins and herbs now I feel 10x better but still not my best. If you wanna know more you can send me a message.

Yes i am also an herbologist as welll and know herbs do work, but before anything you need to find out what needs to be targeted is the trickest part. Have a good time with endos because 90% of them will not treat you accordingly to how you feel. I run a clinic out side philly that specializes in different modalities for treating hormonal imbalances through lifestyle, detoxfication, herbs, homeopathic rememdies, bio identical hormones, nutritoinal intervention. DR O and I work at finding the root cause of your issue and in many young guys we find out that it usually diet related or lifestyle induced. Its not the number that we look at but rather how the person feels ..We focus heavily on adrenals, thyroid, and sexhormones. We have alot of patients from shippen that come to us to get finally tuned up which may not be feeling good because testosterone levels are fine and it is something totally different causing their fatigue such as hidden infection, lyme disease, and also heavy metal toxcity which is showing up more and more in younger guys. Feel free to pm me for details. The nice part is we take many ppo insurances. Do not waste your time with endos it will take you 6-8 weeks to even get an appointment to get in and they will just give you some bull shit about numbers are fine no need for further investigation and go see a shrink. They never dig deeper. I have about 20-30 guys on here that have been to see us where other dr's could not find what was wrong.

From looking at your results I can premuch tell you are secondary due to low LH and potentially high cortisol levels, and may be even low thyroid levels due to slightly high prolactin levels. This could potientially be fixed with lifestyle, modification and also restart.

Dr's tend to look at the symptoms and rarely examine the cause.
