It is my understanding that if you are getting hot flashes from low T or High E2 you go along feeling ok then you get a flush and start sweating and then that stops and you are back to normal. Am I right? With me I am just constantly hot. Now I am thinking thathis is from too high Thyroid meds. I am trying to determine what is what. Any comments from experience? |

Everyone I've ever talked to who had "flashes" from TRT experience transient and short lived spells. As I understand it, thyroid meds do affect body temp (in fact some bber's use body temp as a way to determine how much T3 to use). So, it would seem reasonable that too much thyroid meds could elevate your temp. Personally, I would take my temp in the morning upon waking, in the middle of your day and at night before bed...just to make sure. One thing I was just thinking....when you are running a fever when sick you often feel cold. Some who have lower than normal body temps tend to feel warm. Just some food for thought. |
