HPTA Restart seems working for me-Results enclosed

HPTA Restart Protocol – Seems working for me after 4 weeks of tamoxifen.(This is based on blood test; Urine results are not yet available; I will update once it is available)

Blood results after the Restart Protocol

LH : 31.3 ( Range 1.5 to 9.3)
FSH: 14 (Range 1.4 to 18.1)
Testosterone 648 (Range 241-827)
Free Testosterone 8.8 (Range 6.8-21.5)
Estradiol 35 (Range0 to 53)

Before the protocol

LH : 5 ( 1.5 to 9.3)
FSH: 4.5 (1.4 to 18.1)
Testosterone 229 (241-827)
Free Testosterone 6.5 (Range 6.8-21.5)
Estradiol 21 (Range0 to 53)

I just can’t understand

-Why LH is so high? (Is this because I screwed up one week by doubling the tamoxifen dosage to 60MG per day instead of 30 MG by error)
-Why free Testosterone is not increased in proportion to total Testosterone?
-Is this secondary or Primary hypogonadism?
Estradiol seems gone up

FreeT test is always suspect unless it is from Quest Diagnostics, from this particular test:
Testosterone, Free, Bio/Total (LC/MS/MS)

Assuming that your FreeT number is correct (very low anyhow), reason for that may be a very high SHBG level.
What is your SHBG?

Use "ultrasensitive" E2 test.

Seth, I dont believe you can determine whether it is working until you taper off of it, and see what your body can do on its own. I wish you the best.
