Sadaf, GO see any Doctor at this point! The list of symptoms you have should have had you seeing a Doctor right away!!! Why have you not seen someone yet? What does your GP think?
Carbonium you are completely messing the point! The HRT did not cure your heart failure any more then Asprin cures a headache! You had a metabolic condition that was either caused by low
testosterone or by something else that latter caused your natural
testosterone to dip below normal. We do not know in this case which came first the chicken or the egg. You heart failure was a symptom of your metabolic and hormonal imbalances! So by correcting your metabolic imbalance and your hormonal imbalances your body was able to repair your heart and get it functioning as it should have been all along. I can guarantee you that Testosterone by itself did not go to your heart and begin repairing it!
When you started HRT you did not just start taking
test and sit on the coach reading playboy and breathing O2 from your tank did you? If I recall you also started on Armour Thyroid,HCG, and you drastically increased your exercise. Your congestive heart failure was just the most obvious symptom of your completely messed up metabolism. You added to many things all at once to be able to pin point exactly which compound did the most good for you. Obviously you are happy and I am happy for you as well really I am. I just do not think that Testosterone by itself did much for the heart failure directly. I think you had far more dangerous metabolic things going on then you are aware of. I think you where close to dieing not because your heart was getting ready to give out but your entire metabolism was just one chemical reaction away from spiraling out of control. No drug can cure anything the best you hope for is to correct chemical imbalances to allow the body to heal itself or to give the body raw materials it needs to heal itself.....Kind of like taking Vitamin C to prevent scurvy the vitamin C is not going into the body and doing some magical feet of bone engineering rather the body needs that ingredient at all times to keep ones bones healthy, teeth in your gums where they belong etc.....
where did you learn the MET's term!!! That is preety obscure and seldom heard outside of college physiology class's. I have not heard one magazine on fitness ever use it! It is a good term and is very precise so I am glad to see it being used just wondering where you heard it???
