why does the bottom of my foot hurt, between the middle and the heel. it feels almost as if its bruised but its not. can this be a symptom of low T or high estrogen ?
A couple of years ago, my cardilologist decided we should shoot for "lower number" (Cholesterol, HDL, LDL) and changed my statin from Pravachol to Crestor.
I developed a terrible pain in my right foot - between the middle and heal - like yours. And a coincidental pain in my left elbow. Forgot to take my Crestor one night, and the pain was lessened a lot by morning. My doctor's office was unconvinced and told me to continue with Crestor. Forgot it again . . . this time on purpose . . . a couple of days later, and the same thing happened. I switched back to Pravachol. It took six weeks for the pain to leave, but it did. My diet and activities during this time did not vary . . . the only difference was Crestor.
Had a similar problem, but not as severe with non-flush-Niacin.
I tried PT, heat, ice, yoga while I had the pain . . . nothing helped.

Sign of low thyroid i get it when my thyroid goes low all the time because it is not my adrenals because they are supported. You need to get with a good dr to properly examine the thyroid in full detail as well as the adrenals. After reading all your post I know there is emotional trama and also adrenals I am sure have been affected in one way or another.

I wish you luck. I remember how painful it was!
i developed neuropathy within 2weeks on Crestor,..numb left foot n painfully tingly right foot...switched to Lescol n have been fine since. doesn't sound like this guys' problem is statin-related tho, pain is way too localized.

Coenyme q10 deficeincy would be your most logical choice to aid in this issue.
