Default I think I have adrenal fatigue/burnout...

Hey all,

I've been looking into adrenal fatigue, as I have not felt very good lately. I am nearing the end of my college career...one more week. I've been under a ton of stress this semester, with all the papers I've had to write and the tests that I've crammed for. I've fallen into some terrible habits, like staying up all night playing poker and not getting anywhere near the sleep I need. I rarely have time for naps. When I don't stay up all night, I usually never get to bed until 3 a.m. Also, I have taken a lot of stimulants, including hot-rox, redlines, ephedra/caffeine, coffee, tea, pre-workout drinks, etc. In the past year I've also done a couple short cycles of prohormones, followed up with clomid or nolvadex and a test booster for pct. I've taken phenibut and piracetam too. Of course, being in college, I've gotten hammered a lot in the past 2 years as well, and smoke the occasional cigar or dip. Amist all of this, I have worked out pretty hard too, with the weights and running. Lately, I've been taking it easy, but usually have trained pretty damn hard and consistently for the past few years. Also, I've pretty much been broke this last semester, mostly due to poor money management several months ago. Financial pressures to pay the bills weigh on my mind daily.

Symptoms are: Its hard for me to get up in the morning, my fingers get cold when the temperature gets a little chilly (this seems to worsen after 2 hours after caffeine ingestion, if I don't workout,...the finger size actually decreases when its cold), lack of energy in the day without stims, not able to concentrate and remember things like I used to.
When school is out I want to get a full hormone profile, just to check the levels of everything. Libido is good. I'm a little higher body fat than I'd like to be, probably around 14% right now. I'm 6'0 220.

All in all, I take responsiblity for the very destructive habits that I've developed here in college. At first it was fun to party all the time, get fucking hammered, dip/smoke, stay up all night, etc. To compensate for all this, I started taking caffeine stims to get up early, focus, and workout. I am confident with some lifestyle changes I'll feel better again. I'm researching what exactly I need to do to get the ball rolling torwards feeling energetic and vibrant again.

Thanks guys and I'm looking forward to your advice and suggestions.

First things first which is the obvious.

Stop taking stims and anything with caffeine in it, clean up your diet, get a regular sleep pattern of earlier nights, take a good quality multi vitamin, maybe get some greens as well.

If you still feel like crap after a month of healthy living then look at getting some tests done, which I won't go into.

There was another guy who posted here some time ago who was in a similar situation to you, and as as soon as he got into a healthy lifestyle his problems fixed themselves - you might be lucky and get the same result.

Eeso,

Do you remember the guys screen name? I'd like to PM him and ask him a few questions.

Pmgamer,

Thanks for the links. I'm in the process of reading the information. I'm going out today to buy a thermometer to chart my body temperature

Nah I don't remember.

Seriously though I wouldn't do anything apart from eat and live extremely healthy for a while, and take a multi. Of course your levels will be shit if you've been living unhealthily. The last thing you wanna do is get levels done now and get all paranoid about bad results.
