Default IGF-1 matter in 16 yr old

I was wondering if low growth hormone can cause significant problems with fatigue and low muscle strenght, or if that is my low testosterone. How important is growth hormone compared to testosterone?

Fixing all other hormones first will correct the igf-1 in many cases.
You are bouncing all over the place.
Focus on lifestyles,
proper nutritional balance
Proper blood tests
Good sleep quality
Good hormone Dr.

If your sleep sucks then this can answer alot of your issues.

Your probably going to start feeling good to great today and will think that the test is all you need. But trust me when I say in a few weeks you will start to feel like you did yesterday and maybe worse. That's the problem most of us have had because we didn't get proper care to start, just as you are not getting it now. Keep your eye towards getting proper treatments and don't be fooled by the good times over the next few days.

just noticed you are b-12 deficient as well. I have had people test 7-800 on b-12 and still end up being deficient. To tell you the truth it appears you have some issue with methylation as well as your elevated folate levels are getting trapped due to the low b-12 levels in your tissue. Its called the methyl trap..Which again goes back to thyroid which onces you start treating the adrenals properly it will all come out which is not hidden. As with chinese medicine you will get worse before you get better..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there anything that should be added to this list of tests? Adrinals?

Total Testosterone
Bioavailable Testosterone (sometimes called “Free and Loosely Bound”)
Free Testosterone (if Bio T is not available)
SHBG
DHT
Estradiol (specify by the “Extraction Method” or “Ultra-Sensitive”)
Total Estrogens
LH
FSH
Prolactin
Cortisol
Thyroid Panel (TSH, FT3, FT4)
CBC
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
Lipid Panel
Homocysteine
PSA (if over 40)
IGF-1 (if HGH therapy is desired)
Fasting Insulin

At the one month point, I follow-up with these assays:
Total Testosterone
Bioavailable Testosterone
Free T and SHBG (if Bio T is not available)
Estradiol (specify by the “Extraction Method” or “Sensitive”)
DHT (if patient is using a transdermal delivery system)
SHBG
FSH (3rd gen "sensitive" assay)
CBC
Lipid Panel
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
(if ALT/AST from above are elevated, then get a GGT)

okay well should I start to look at this further, will you help me break it down?
Nutrition, I do everything in my power to eat the best things possible here are some foods I incorporate into my diet on a daily basis:
Salmon
Scallops
Shrimp
Tuna
Assparagus
Brocoli (steamed always)
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Brussel sprouts
Lentils every other day
Sweet potatoes
Frozen peas
Apples
Apricots
Bananas
Blueberries
Oats
Quinoa
Lean meat
Eggs
Skim milk
Yogurt
Now for lifestyle and sleep:
8 hours of sleep a night, even on weekends, don't really feel like staying up late so going to bed around eight every night waking up around seven in the morning, going to school and after school work at the YMCA as a life guard, (no major stresses in my life)
As for blood tests, give me some I should run and I'll try them.
I think I'm going to make a post as to which bloods I should run.

it would not because you do not understand the biological pathology of why it is.neither do most dr's.
When I have patients testing in the b-12 750 and then running intracellular testing showing they are low. I think experience and clinical documentation rules out a 16 year olds observation. If you are also in the area you are then i highly would suspect iodine deficiency would be highly plausible as this can cause alot of your symptoms you are experiencing. Its called the goiter belt of the USA.
