I'm ready to Give Up!

Okay fellas.....I'm ready to give up on trying to find someone that will do SWALE's protocol. My family doctor refuses to refer me to one of the doctors that I pulled up on the women's international site. Without his referral my insurance won't pay. The family doctor did refer me to a urologist that prescribed me 400mgs once a month, but as you know that isn't the proper protocol. When I asked the urologist about SWALE's protocol he refused. So, my family doctor referred me to another urologist that refused to give shots. I don't want to use gels because my wife and I want to start a family and the gels are harmful to the fetus if the female is exposed to it. So, I showed this urologist SWALE's protocol and he said he didn't feel comfortable doing it and refered me to an endocrinologist. I'm ready to give up. Has anyone had this much trouble getting this done?

raises hand...... but the uro i had was a great doc (early to mid 30s too which is werid usually the older guys are supposed to be the smart ones)... he looked at my labs seen i needed test started me off on it and get me into see a endo.... once i get my insurance it's back to the doctors to get this finished,,,,,,

Zek,

You are just starting to realise how much crap one has to go through to get treated, never mind treated correctly. I saw 14 doctors and suffered for 7 years before finally getting treated. At least in your case they have acknowledged that T is a problem. In most cases they hand you an anti-depressant.

Don't give up. Consider this a numbers game. Eventually you will find one guy that will listen. You may have to pay out of pocket for this, although it doesn't have to be very much. In my experience, just because the fee is higher, does not mean the doctor is better in any way whatsoever. Perhaps find a doctor off the women's international site whose fees are very reasonable. This doc will be more open to reviewing Swale's documents. Also, be sure to let him know that Swale has presented his protocol at the Academy of Anti-Aging medicine. Also, take along his updated HCG article that was published in a magazine which is on his home page.

Before you give up, consider buying your meds online from a foreign pharmacy. Then follow SWALE's protocol.

Giving up is not in my vocabulary. In Hawaii, MD's will not treat low T in teens and young men. Dr John's protocol was a snap to follow and it had me feeling better in a month. HCG and enanthate are not hard to find. Letrozole or Armidex are even easier if you need to be on those meds. It is now a routine for me, 125 mg enanthate on Wed, 250 iu HCG Mon & Tue, 0.625 letrozole Sun and Wed. I simply refused to live the next 50 or more years of my life waiting for death.

LOL Man, If you haven't done all this trouble to find a good doc, you're not officially a member of the club yet.

In the link below, which is an older post, you will see similar stories from myself and other board member: we all had to go through this hell of seeing different docs... Believe me: I have posted the same mail as you in the past...."Ready to give up". Thanks to the advice of our boardmembers here, I was able to start my treatment. So don't give up just yet.

Zek it took me 21 hard yrs. to find the right treatment even after getting a dam good Dr. 10 yrs ago. I feel your pain where do you live.

Don't give up yet. I am surprised to hear at the number of referrals/physicians some of you have had to endure.

Read the sticky on finding a Dr. and go to this site and click on finding a Dr. and put in your state. And start calling not all of the Dr. on the site are go on TRT ask how many men do they treat.

All kidding aside, you would have to save up the initial $200 fee, but your insurance will probably cover the labs, which are the main expense. The meds are cheap as long as you don't use Androgel.

I asked my Family doctor about one of those Doctors that was provided by tuneupyourt.com. He said he was a family doctor also and that I would need to be monitored by a endo or uro.
