Indolplex/DIM BRANDS

There seems to be 2 major brands which supply this product.

1) PhytoPharmica
2) Enzymatic Therapy


Number 1 receives a lot of accolades from HRT people.

Has anyone tried/compared number 2????

Could someone please post the cheapest site for their product also.

I get mine form Life Extension Foundation. Prices are not low but the quality is assured. This one also adds quercitin which Dr. Ward Dean has suggested is a valuable compliment to I3C.

That price isn't bad headoc. It contains 200mg of I3C per capsule, whereas other indolplex with dim tabs are only 120mg. Prices are actually pretty much the same for 60.

The only problem i see is that the life extension stuff comes in capsules which means u couldnt break them down to smaller portions. I suppose u could draw the liquid out with needles but who wants to do that.

The fine print on bottles of PhytoPharmica Indolplex with DIM say "Distributed by PhytoPharmica, Div. of Enzymatic Therapy, Inc., Green Bay, WI."

My old bottles of PhytoPharmica Indolplex with DIM say "Distributed by PhytoPharmica, Div. of Integrative Theraputics Inc., Green Bay, WI."

Therefore, it appears that PhytoPharmica and Enzymatic Therapy are the same company. Whether or not the products are identical, I can't say. I'd stick with PhytoPharmica because it's a known product that works. This hormone stuff is tricky enough, that I try not to introduce elements that may cause doubt.

However, some posters have had delivery issues, particularly on overnight orders. I just ordered a bottle last week, ground delivery, and it came yesterday. That's pretty good for a west coast delivery since I'm in Ohio.

I didn't know others where having problems.

I've used Enzymatic Therapy's "Pure Rip With DIM" with good results. As long as you stay with Indolplex, you'll get the real thing. A bottle of 60 tablets, each containing 120 mg of Indolplex DIM, costs $24.65 at www.bodybuilding.com/store/et/pure.html.

Swiftarrow, bodybuilding.com actually sell 2 types of enzymatic therapy indolplex with dim.

The one u linked is the men's one.

The other one is the women's, and contains more indolplex with dim and it's exactly the same price. So if u need something stronger go for the women's.

Unless I'm misreading something, Stez, it looks to me like bodybuilding.com's men's and women's DIM tablets each contain 120 mg of the Indolplex complex. The 60-tablet women's bottle is a few pennies cheaper that the men's, though.

Read carefully

Women's is 35% DIM, Men's is 25%.

And yes, women's is also cheaper.

I once called Enzymatic therapy about one of their products and asked them about the PhytoPharmica brand which was exactly the same, and they told me that the Phytopharmica was exactly the same except that they sold it to "professionals", whereas the Enzymatic was sold in Health Food Stores. Easiest thing to do is just call them up and ask if one is uncertain about a product.
