Default Injecting Pain Free

I've been on TRT for about 3 years now. I started off on androgel, and it was great. A couple of months later, I began to feel like my "old" self. I asked my doc if I could try Test Cyp. He prescribed 100mg weekly, which is what I wanted. After my first shot, I noticed that I was VERY sore for 4-5 days afterwards. I couldn't understand it. Aside from the pain, I felt much better on the shots. But due to the pain, I had to stop. I went back on androgel and just dealt with feeling "ok".

Fast forward to a couple of months ago, when I decided to try test cyp subq. I thought this would surely take care of the horrible pain. I even decided to inject daily, which is a pretty small dose per day. I didn't get the soreness like before, however, I did get red, itchy, irritated lumps at the injection site. I couldn't understand why.

A few weeks ago, I did some research and realized some people have adverse reactions to the cottonseed oil in Test Cyp. I went back to my doctor and had him write an rx for a compounded injectable testosterone, which instead used sesame seed oil, and no preservatives added. SInce I have began using this, I've felt great with no pain. Words cannot describe how happy I am.

Anyway, I simply wanted to share my experience. Maybe it'll help someone in the future.

1. USe smaller needles less scare tissue
2. Ice the area first - numb it then shot. I did this first few times injection steroids years ago and worked like a charm. Also may want to warm the needle up a little bit to make it not as thick as solution. I notice if i leave the bottle out in a warmer place then cold and dreary. It flows alot better and less pain,.

If you still get allergic reaction then be smart and switch to compunded like SPE did..

I have no problem when injecting original Depo-T 31Ga 5/16" long needle, just about everywhere, except my thighs.
When I inject thighs my story is similar to yours, pain for few days, not sewere but constantly there.
I do not rub, use ice or anything. Use alcohol swab to clean area and then shoot at angle or straight, my needle is very short, it does not matter.

Womens International have resonable price for compounded T.
Thanks for sharing.
