i had my t-level taken monday may 4th and that was at trough, levels @450. during letro treatmenti didn't have an E2
test (AFAIK, if i learn different i'll post it here), but i did have an anomaly just a week BEFORE the letro...my (non "ultrasensitive") E2
test then was <24. previous E2 tests months earlier had my E2 at 50-56, so i was surprised at the pre-AI dropoff.
my doc and i both assumed that any E2
test during the Letrozole course would produce an undetectable E2 level anyway, so it seemed moot. i had my last Letrozole yesterday, and i'm going to wait till Monday to allow for some E2 rebound and then commence taking 1/4 Arimidex tab every M/W/F. after a few weeks of that i plan on taking an 'ultrasensitive E2
test on June 8th (my next doc appt).
i'm also 10 days into a fracture of my right arm, so i'm hoping that rising E2 levels will speed up my healing. of course i'm curious if my low E2 pre-disposed me to fracture, but i'm still glad i killed off that lump in my chest. for at least the next few weeks im not too worried about high E2...as long as i can keep it under enuff control to avoid gyno round 2...
