About a year ago, I finally suspected low t and went for testing. My symptoms were depression, nervousness, erectile problems low energy. Pretty much everything that points to low T which is why I suspected it. Well my tests came back low. My useless physician recommended counseling, so I sacked him. I went to another GP and was retested. I came back low again, but better than the first time. He told me he'd put me on T therapy if I wanted to. He's been very understanding and said I could either have him do it, or he'd refer me out to a specialist. I chose not to jump into it and have tried improving my diet and taking fish oils, multi's, vitamin d, etc. I rarely if ever wake up completely hard. If it's anything, it's a very weak erection. I can, however ejaculate multiple times a day no problem and I have a strong urge to do it, so I think my drive is ok. However, when It comes to actual sex, I could take it or leave it most of the time, I think this has to do with my inconsistent ability to get an erection. Also, i have acne pretty much all over my back. I Have NEVER taken any steroids before.
My father and brother have BOTH been tested since, and both came back very low. For what it's worth, my dad is a 53 year old tri-athlete who trains constantly.......so I think his may be the result of training.
Anyways, I've attached two tests here.
Both were taken late in the afternoon after 3pm.
I was VERY nervous and going through some emotional issues around the time of the first one.
I was in a MUCH better emotional state when I took the second one.
OK your Testosterone levels are very low but don't go on TRT until you do more labs to find out why your so low. You need to do Estradiol, LH , FSH , Prolactin , cortisol and more thyroid labs.
Read my link on labs I tell men to get and add to this Total T3 and T4 for Thyroid. I can't read your labs you posted a link to they are to small and when I try to make it bigger I lose it. realthyroidhelp.com • View topic - Labs we men need done.
So do find out why your low if it can be fixed your T levels can go back up with out TRT.

You are hypogonadal. You likely have elevated estrogen (acne and your libido and erection issues)
YOUR PSA IS ELEVATED: HAVE YOUR PROSTATE CHECKED BEFORE YOU START TRT!!!!!!!!!
You can probably ejaculate multiple times because your prostate is enlarged or inflamed. Semen and pre-cum actually requires estrogen, doesn't rely so much on Testosterone.
See a urologist and/or endocrinologist.
It would be best if you could be tested in the morning as T levels are highest then, and drop during the day.
If you are near Michigan, see about going to Dr. Crisler at allthingsmale.com
If you are near Minneapolis, PM me for a great doctor here.
PM me if you have any other questions.
Do get your prostate checked, but be skeptical if the only solution offered is something that blocks conversion to DHT.
Get a highly sensitive ESTRADIOL (E2) test, not total Estrogens.
Hey Guys. Thank you for the replies. Both these tests were taken around 3-4pm. The next test will be taken in the morning. I'm surprised my prostate levels looked high. My doc performed a quick prostate check and said things looked fine and when the blood work came back, nobody was alarmed. At least not alarmed enough to request a follow up. Man, I really would like to figure this out. I feel like i'm only runnin on 2 cylinders and won't want to waste anymore of my life. I will get right in and get my e2 levels checked along with the other recommendations. Thank you for the replies. I'm glad I found this place.
I'm in oklahoma by the way. Anyone know any good docs around here?
From what you guys can see here, any idea on what the recommended treatment would be?
We can, and I do, recommend you get a second opinion about your prostate. I know that's not fun, but to think a mid range PSA is not elevated or something to investigate is reckless in my opinion. Did he do a DRE (did he stick a finger in)?
Unfortunately, I don't know of any good TRT doctors in your area.

Reason: typo
So even though it's in the middle of the range it's not good? With psa, the lower the number the better? Yes, he did the finger test and had no worries.

I wouldn't freak out.
My PSA has always been less than 1. DRE always normal (only had 2 done, but I'm 39).
My main point for highlighting this with you is that you must advocate for yourself.
If you're fine, then that's good. However, you're having issues with hormones and prostate health must be borne in mind when embarking on a therapy that will directly impact the prostate.
