Default Low Body Temperature

I am going to see my doctor tomorrow to try and get him to run a blood panel to try and determine what is causing the issues that I have discussed in my previous threads and want to know about low body temperature. I remember it either having something to do with Thyroid or Adrenal...or maybe both.

I took my temperatures today and this what I came up with (Orally):

Upon waking 6:00 am: 95.2 degrees
11:00 am: 97.1 degrees
3:00 pm: 96.5 degrees
7:00 pm: 97.0 degrees

Is this a cause for concern? Other symptoms I have been having are the same as previously mentioned. I have been trying to pay close attention.I noticed that I get light headed and see black spots, sometimes almost blacking out, when I get up but have been told that is normal. Other than that all the same. Libido issues, Fatigue Issues, Acne (Face and Back), Anxiety if I go too long without eating etc. I have noticed a slight difference in feeling of well being after about three weeks on 25 mg of DHEA. The other supplements I take are Zinc, Copper, and Vitamin C. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think most doctors will acknowledge low body temp to mean anything even thou most hee thinkk it relates to the thyroid.

Very suggestive of hypothyroid, especially a waking temp of 95

Here is how you take your basel temp first thing in the morning.
Thyroid Self-Testing by Basal Temperature (originated by Dr. Broda Barnes)
You need to good gage to do this and it needs to be down before you get out of bed in the morning take it under your arm.

If you need more info do these labs I tell men to get at my thyroid forum.
realthyroidhelp.com • View topic - Labs we men need done.
If you start on armour you first need to test your cortisol levels if low you need to treat this first then go on armour.
In this link are links to how to take your temps avg. to tell if your adreals are supported enough to start on armour and in the link are charts so you can keep track on your temps as you go up on armour.
Adrenals - and the thyroid connection

When testing thyroid first time, make sure that you have each and every line of these tests:

41 --------- T3 Free
42 --------- T4,Free
43 --------- reverse T3 (rT3)
44 --------- Ultrasensitive TSH
45 --------- Thyroid Peroxidase and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (7260X)
------------- iodine, selenium, zinc, copper

on follow up tests you definitely need:

41 --------- T3 Free
42 --------- T4,Free

docs often argue about FreeT3
that is the most important test.

Well, the doctor I went to yesterday was a complete waste of time. According to him the low blood pressure and dizziness is probably caused by me working out a lot. He said I should not worry about it. He acted like I am crazy or exaggerating. Do these assholes not realize I DONT want to be there as much as they dont want to listen to my problems. I took in my recent Androgen Pathway test and he basically told me that because my testosterone looked good and was high the other symptoms are either caused by stress or working out too much. I am very pissed off. Went to Canary Club today and ordered a baseline test, which measures Cortisol x4, DHEA x2 and a couple others. Once I get the results I think I may try to go see a QUALIFIED doctor. Does anyone know someone close to Texas? I know Crisler is in Michigan and Mariance is in California.

Do not tell dr John that you are doing saliva tests.
He say they are worthless.

Post results of cortisol and DHEA.
Do not bother with the rest of what you are going to get, creates unnecessary arguments and confussion.
.
With that opinion about saliva testing he goes mostly by how one feels.
But he asks for 24hr urine testing.
It tests cortisol among others, so he have idea about total cortisol output.

Listen to dr John talk about hormones.

You can listen on the blog site, download the mp3 directly, or listen/subscribe through iTunes.

I'm looking forward to next week...now if only I could be sure I could ask a coherent question at 6AM my time .
