Low test (10.3 or 294 ng/dl) and doctor says no hcg
Hi.
I got tested the other day for my test levels, and the same day (i was impatient) i went home and started hcg injections.
Now i feel so good, sex drive is back, sleeping great, energy is fantastic.
But my doctor says that he wants me off everything for 2 months then we can test again.
I have had the same level (that i can feel) for years. Waiting 2 months to get a test that will say the same thing wont help.
What would you recommend.
I started hcg @ 1250iu per week, injected nightly.
Re: Low test (10.3 or 294 ng/dl) and doctor says no hcg
Thanks for the reply HD,
I went back to him this morning (talked to him on phone last night) and talked with him and explained how good i feel now that i am on hcg.
He was really nice, and listened and we discussed various things, he said to stay on the hcg and we will take another blood test in 4 weeks.
He also said he cannot prescribe HCG or he will lose his license, all he can do is prescribe Test.
Im on no other medications and i have no other medical conditions. Along with the T test, he checked out my liver, cbc, urinalysis, and thyroid, all were in normal range.
He said he wanted to retest because he wanted to see if my test levels were rising or dropping, basically he thought the results were erroneous. But after talking with him face to face i think i convinced him that due to how i feel now, the test results were most likely accurate.
Now the only problem is seeing if he will be able to prescribe me HCG, as i would prefer to take it legally.
I was impatient to have some resolution of this problem,

What country do you live in where hcg is illegal to prescribe? In the US it is not even a controlled drug, but it is in some of the states. I'm not aware of any state where it is illegal to prescribe, but I'm certainly not up on various state laws.

IF you have clincal evidence for supporting use of HCG he can not loose his licensce. Never heard that before unless he may be a PA or NP, ND. Sounds like you need to go on your own to alldaychemist and you can pick up hcg from their on your own.

I think your doc doesn't have a clue about HCG. It's better to inject 250 IU ED than once a week, 'cause you'll mimic the body release of GnRH (which stimulates the release of LH - that's what HCG does in men).
