Default Male or female endocrinologist?

Lads, my doctor told me that he could refer me to an endocrinologist to discuss these problems I've been having. He mentioned a couple of names of endos I could see, one of whom was a female. Do you think it would make much of a difference whether I saw a female or male endo? I was thinking that perhaps the female endo may be more open to hormone replacement, since females have a lot of hormone problems themselves.
Cheers.

Personally, I like to see a female endocrinologist, since I find the experience far more kinky...

Perhaps a female endocrinologist may be more open since probably more females than males realize hormones play a large role in mood and mental function.

However, then again, an endocrinologist may not be the right specialist. An anti-aging specialist would be much more familiar with hormone replacement.
