I am 37 years old, and I feel like 50% of the time I try to play a fast paced sport, I pull a muscle. I was playing tennis yesterday and sprinted for a drop shot and pulled my hamstring!
I have been on
TRT for almost a year now and this is the only thing it hasn't solved. I spent years of doing NO activity, and then many years of slow long distance work. However, I see other people my age fatter and more out of shape than me that don't pull muscles. Maybe I go too hard?
My question is could this be a imbalance of electrolytes, etc. OR is this something as simple as I need to slowly build back fast twitch muscle over a period of a year? Btw, I warmed up and streched a lot yesterday beforehand.
Frustrated....
