My Lab Story( take a look)

Hi everyone,

im 22 y/o and a year and a half before i sarted having depression symptoms.
i went to the doctor and asked for lab tests and for sex hormones test because i had ED, fatigue, loss of libido and musce mass etc.
some of te results back then:
Hematology( some of the wolds are in duetch)

hemogl. 8.7 (8.5-11)nmol/l
hematrc. 0.42(0.4-0.5)l/l
erythrct. 4.8(4.5-5.5)

Trombocyten 219(150-400)

total testosterone was 18.2 in a range (9-28)

after two weeks other labs
LH 4(2-9) and after 2 months was 6( 2-9) FSH 2(2-18) and after 2 months was again 2(2-18)
Prolactine 0.33 (<0.37) after 2 months was 0.3(<0.37)
Progesterone 4 (<0.4) after 2 months was 3(<0.4) very very abnormal (Anyone knows someth)
estradiol 92(<190) after 2 months was <75(<190)
Testosterone 11.7(9-28) after 2 months 11(9-28) HAS DECLINED FROM 18.2
SHBG 21(10-60)after 2 months 24 (10-60)
HCG+ b unit 2(<5)
DHEA-SO4 9.8(1.9-13.4)
17-OHPROGESTER. 6.1(1.3-19.6)
they ordered for me a testicle examination,adrenal gland and they checked even my niples for tumor because i had a little bit gyno, they check my liver, all this examination they did with those computerized things but nothing wrong as they told me.
then i moved from there and came in NY and kept meeting a doctor here .
here in NY they order this tests

hematology numbers came also between normal ranges.

total testosterone 335 (241-827) i think for me is too low but the doctor says *it is OK*
LH 6.81 (1.5-9.3)
FSH 2.87 (1.4-18.1)
After these labs here in NY doctor gave me somthing to lower my blood preasure and nothing else.BUT i ArrAnged appointment with the endocrinologist but even endo said my testo was ok and still order some more tests 2 months later+ he gave me bromocriptine mesylate for ED problems and gyno(I DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON)
total testo 396 (260-1000)
% Free testo 1.8 (1 - 2.7)
Tesstosterone,Free 70.6 (50-210)
prolactima was ok
estradiol was around 40 it was a litle high as the doctor said

ANYONE WHO REALLY UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS?
IM GOING CRAZY BECAUSE IT IS OBVIOUS THAT I HAVE ANDROGENIC DEFICIENCY BUT WHY THE DOCTOR IS SAYING NO?
DO U KNOW ANY GOOD DOCTOR HERE IN NY THAT KNOWS ABOUT THESE THINGS?
IM PLANING IN HAVING MRI FOR THE BRAIN TOO.

I Just Remembered That My Endo Ordered Even 24 H Urine Test And Vanillymandelic Acid(im Not Sure If I Wrote It The Way It Is.)
He Said That Even These Came Good But I Dont Have The Paper Right Now.

You will get good advice and guidance here. The only thing I can tell you is to find yourself a good doctor. Most of them suck and dont know crap. Book multiple appointments days apart until you find a good doc and then cancel the rest. This way you dont wait weeks or months to see each new doctor when the one you just seen sucks. I learned this after many years. Most doctors are mills and dont care or dont know, and could care less to help you out any further. Learn to work the system. Best advice I can give you. My Endo walks on egg shells when I am in his office. I have schooled him and called him out on his bullshit in front of his whole staff and the waiting room. He knows i put him in his place and the assistants couldnt get over it. They were waiting for the day someone put the doctor on blast. Most doctors suck.

Tell us the story, rich. It might come in handy for us next time we're presented with a stubborn and misinformed endo. Which is most of them.

Your anemic as hell get some b-12 in your ass with some injections and you will be fine!!
High cortisol is good in the morning might want to check 24 hour urine to see if its bioavaiable though

Here`s the problem . Your serum factors relating to anemia are still in the normal range, so the doc wont say youre anemic.. albumine 48(35-50) at the high end of norml so its ok in their eyes."cortisol 607 (150-700) considered high "- meaningless- need 24 hour urine test or 4 point serum or saliva test..

A lot of docs don ttake into consideration that there exists a lot of individual variability amoung people. And dont have a baseline to compare any given reading to since you probably have never had things checked befor onset of symptoms. Could try iron supplemnents. Arent a vegitarian are you ?

i dont have sighns of anemia, i mean i eat food regularly,
i eat vetegarian and meat too,
what do u think for my estradiol/testosterone ratio?

Im 58yo and my T=348 . I dont see how he can say that. its ok.
% free T is normally about 2%. free T ok and indicates SHBG is ok.
I single LH reading doesnt mean much. It`s half life is less than hour and its repeased as pulses thriout the day.
FSH has a longer half life and is a beter indicator of pituitary activity. It`s low .
T aromatizes to E2 hense the high E2
Apparently youre converting too much T to E2. Reason unknown.
Interesting that doc Rx bromocryptine.
bromocryptine increases dopamine and decreases prolactin which controls your refrsactory period. The length of time between the last orgasm and when you can get it up agaiin.
I`ll trade you some viagra for bromacryptine
You have a lot of labs there. lemme look all of them over and get back to you.
