I am 47,treated for depression by various GPs after saying I had no libido, libido for last 10 years really low or none. One GP about 8 years ago tests my T level,it comes back low-normal.Wait nearly a year to see Endo, high prolactin a problem/borderline low T.Endo says that giving T will make me aggressive!!.Prolactin put down to anti-depression meds. See Endo every six months,he says same thing and tells me to see him in six months.I got on the web, found GP I could pay to see and he gave me Testogel, wow for three weeks I had a libido but then it went.I can't afford to keep paying so I went back to my GP and got him to change my Endo. I am now on 10mg of Testogel and still no libido. I have a big belly which I have heard is a problem and don't see Endo for 6 months. What can/should I do?my wife is understanding but I am happy with this situation. |

Do you know how high your Prolactin is? Low Testosterone, being over weight can be signs of a prolactinoma. I have a Prolactinoma and it shut down my T production and caused excessive weight gain for years, as well of a host of cognitive problems and ED and gynomastia.
