My next lab is Monday - Cyp injection on Sunday ok?

I am doing my next lab on Monday. My normal injection day is Sunday (morning) and my dosage is 100mg. I assume it is ok to do the injection on Sunday and then my lab on Monday? If not, should I do my injection this evening instead? (early by about 12 hours)

no,absolutely not!!! wait until you you get your blood work done on Monday,then do the shot after the blood work. the object is to see where your levels are just BEFORE the next shot. trust me on this one. if you do it prior to your next shot,your levels are going to come in very high,you want to see where your levels fall to just before the next injection.

Ok - I figured that may be an issue. I am looking for an accurate reading. How many days after my injection would be a good time to run a lab and get as close to an average daily level?

My Dr. has me do labs the day of the shot first the labs then the shot.

I don't believe that Swale cares what day you get you tests on as he has seen enough paients that he can fathom out where your levels are from your last injection day. @ days after your shot they should be there highest and the day before they are at there lowest. Although they may be elevatede from the hcg if you are using his protocol.

I have my guys ALWAYS take their meds on schedule. I know how to read labs taking the week into account. It gets a little more complicated after adding in the HCG, though.

If you delay yoyur shot until after your labs, you are NOT deriving any useful information form them, as it would then represent your serum level on Day 8--which you should never get to anyway.

take the blood test the day of your next shot(just before the shot). since your blood test is tomorrow,wait til just after the blood test to take your shot. since you are doing weekly shots of cyp,you want to know what your levels are after 7 days. the object is to come in in the mid to upper range on day 7. DO NOT do the shot today. every endo or urologist i ever went to says this and i agree 100%. at 100mgs of cyp,i come in about 610 ng on day 7 just before my next shot. that is perfect for me. that means the day afyer my shot i am probably at 1000.
