I'm really having a problem lately with getting sharp pains in my elbows while lifting, and a dull pain in my elbows while I'm at rest. I have tendonitis in my right elbow from pitching during my high school years but my left elbow has recently been giving me a lot of problems. I took a week off of working out and both of them seemed fine when I went back to my routine but now its flaring up again. I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions as to waht I can do to limit or get rid of this problem.

Couple months ago he helped a firefighter. IIRC HGH is helpfull. Among other things Cissus http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/prima/cis.html Celadrin http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/now/cela.html Arniflora Arnica Gel 2.75 oz http://www.amazon.com/Arniflora-Arni...7685928&sr=8-1 Last edited by JanSz; 04-27-2007 at 11:59 AM. |

I had it so bad that just bumping my elbow on something caused pain. 6 weeks physical therapy and using 1/2 normal weight on several exercises such as rows, reverse curls and cable bicep curls took care of it. The PT said most of the time it will go away on its own if you REST it, but PT cuts the time in half. Try this: hold you hand and fingers straight out from your body at shoulder height. Now have someone press down on your middle finger and try to resist. If you hurt in the elbow...you have tendonitis. Good luck with resolving yours.

Can somebody help me out with this please? I took off two weeks from working out which drove me insane but I did it so that I could recover. This is my third week back and my forearms and eblows are starting to hurt again already. I bought a sleeve to put pressure on my elbow and forearm and a strap for my forearm that goes across the tendon and keeps pressure on it. I already understand that this is just a temporary thing because it does not cure the problem it just masks the pain. I'm trying to start up my first cycle soon but i don't want to if I'm going to be in pain now knowing that lifting even heavier weight is going to make the situation worse. I added deca into my cycle but I know that it only lubricates the joints nad doesn't really do anything for the tendons. My best bet would be to go to the doctor but I don't really have all the time to go to my doctor considering the time I would have to travel to get to her. I'm going to try and take ibuprofen or asprin, but does anybody know of anything that can cure this or repair my tendons faster and let me still work out at the capacity I'm working out at now? I got heavy weight for 3 sets at 6-8 reps per set. This pain is a reoccuring problem and if anybody can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

From what Ive been able to find out: if it hurts, even a liitttle - dont do it. There are over a dozen muscles and tendons connected to the elbow. If you can exclude the damaged ones from exercise you could go ahead and work the others- I think. If it concerns you a lot go see a doc bro.

I tried to find werewolf and when I searched his name it didn't show up. I made an appointment on Thursday of this week to go talk to my doctor and I'm just hoping that she doesn't tell me I have to take lik a month or longer off because I can barely take off two weeks without going nuts. I went to gnc to see if they had anything that I could take for tendon issues and I explained what type of problem I was having and they gave me and they gave me this stuff called Calcimate Plus 800 and the lady told me that I might be having issues because of low calcium, which at the time I was like oh something to help then realized later on that I dont have low calcium levels, but it was worth a try. I'm taking another pill for joint pain but I don't think that joint pain has very much to do with tendonitis pain. I just figured I'm tired of trying to fix this problem without a doctor and I'm just going to go. I'll repost whenever I get back on thursday to let anybody that wants to know what my diagnosis is and what i'm supposed to be donig.

I suggest, train other body parts, give that tendon a break at least for 2 weeks. |

Achilles tendon, low by the heel. It is hard to say if/what worked. I tried the two I posted plus a rest. Eventually it went away. I had it before 4-6 years ago. Then I tried Vioxx on my own, latter learned that Vioxx needs waiting time 1-2 weeks, I did not took it that long. Went to a doctor. Bextra, worked on same or second day. Both are out of the market now. you may want try Celebrex, same type of medicine. ---------------------------------------------- That reminds me, very important/valuable, really worked for me: Sorry I forgot it at the first round. http://www.lef.org/newshop/items/item03131.html Zyflamend Easycaps 180 softgels Item Catalog Number: 3131 Look at the picture first, go to CVS or herbal store, you should be able to get it today. They claim it is herbal COX2 inhibitor. I do not care what it is, it worked. |
