Yes, more than likely it is. Yes you can fix it:
You must start out slow and take Baby steps.
I kid you not after a 5 year layoff I started out only 15-20 minutes 3 x a week.
Then 4x a week
then 30 4x a week
Then 40 min 4x a week and so on.
Baby steps especially if you out of shape.
What good is working out if you have a heart attack.
Those times did not include walking.
It wouldan't be bad to take at least one day off in between all sessions.
not includeing walking.
