Patch question

Hello guys:

New here.I have read many post here and have learned much great info. I was using the androderm patches. They came undone all the time and gave me a rash. I convinced my doc to give me the gel. I still have 2 boxes of the patches.

Question:

Can I actually open the patch and rub on the testosterone(like I do with the gel) and get my 5mg that way? I just want to use what I have for patches.

going to a new doctor next week for new blood work and perhaps possible injections. Thank you all for this great forum

I feel what is in the patch is not the same as the gels. When I would change meds and have meds left over I give them to my Dr. he has people that can't aford them and puts them to good use.
