Thanks Pat.

Where did you find the guidelines for sublingual dosing?

So now apart from Testosterone, Arimidex and HCG, the standard TRT treatment from Dr John also includes DHEA and Pregnenolone?

There is an image on what hormone converts to what, atleast in women.

But wouldnt HCG eliminate the need for pregnenolone unless the person was primary?

Also why also use DHEA, shouldnt the body be able to handle exogenous pregnenolone in the same way it would handle endiginous?

I also went through about a 2 week period of sweating a lot at night after starting pregnenolone. I then stopped the HC I was taking, because I felt it was too high and not necessary. The sweating went away after that first 2 weeks and then my libido went into overdrive.

Since pregnenolone is the precursor to so many hormones, one has to be careful to maintain the correct balance. For example, pregnenolone converts into cortisol, DHEA, progesterone, aldosterone, and downstream to testosterone and estrogen. If one is already supplementing HC and DHEA, then the conversion downstream may favor a path less desireable.

Doesnt the body reach Homeostasis within weeks of taking pregnelone? I mean your putting a distant precursor in your body.

From my point of view, for pregnelone to convert into the wrong levels of hormones... would be like getting serotonin syndrome from consuming too much tryptophan.

If this happens then the human body really sucks

and very expensive. Dr. Hertoghe also comments on diet. He favors the paleolithic diet that includes intermittent fasting. University Compounding Pharmacists sell the book and of course sponsor seminars by Dr. Hertoghe.
