Default Regarding the Yahoo Hypogonadism2 group

I joined that group earlier this month around the same time I joined this group. My first message got posted on that group, but none of the following messages I wrote got posted. And I never received any notice or explanation as why they were not getting posted.

Finally, I just stopped trying and decided to stick with this group.

But two days ago, I received a couple of messages telling me that my messages were never posted because they were never approved by the moderator. But this was at least two weeks after I had tried posting them in the first place.

It's just a minor rant but I'm wondering how many other people ended up quitting the Yahoo group after joining because their messages were not getting posted without any explanation.

I have known for a long time that the moderator likes to censor posts. I am also on a "watch list" because I am on TRT without a prescription. So my posts and replies take up to 24 hours to appear, while posts by others are put up within an hour. Its all politics and I am above being bothered or offended by such things. Good thing I am on T. In the past, being slighted in such a manner would get a rise out of me.

Well that's stupid. I won't be bothering with them anymore. It's obvious from your posts that you're on TRT for your own health, not to get the steroid effect.

I am more than capable of moderating myself. You ought to see how everyone's panties got into a bunch when I advised a new member to get off of the Dianabol he was taking. The moderator was pissed that I even knew what that stuff was. I know enough about that from this forum to never want to take it. EQ is a different story. You are right that I take T for my long term health, it is a happy side effect that it changed my body composition for the better.

The yahoo group system is just way too messy. It has no concept of thread, just posts that could be new posts or replys to other posts. And they are not connected in any obvious way. Even news groups are better than that. vBulletin boards like this are the best

I Amen that! Messy, and hard to follow, so I gave up trying to use that group as well. There are plenty of vBulletin boards that I think are even free to some degree.

You're right. There's no order to it. It's difficult to tell where posts end or begin. Answers to one question could be scattered on several different posts.

The format there does take a bit of getting used to compared to the Forums we are used to.

I have to tell you that I have found the H2 group to be a very good one, and believe they have done a lot of good. We have maintained a good handshake relationship with them during the time I have been involved here, as we have the Finastride Group. Sorry to read you both had issues there, as you are good Bro's here.

I don't hang out there because there were a couple of characters who just couldn't stand to have a physician there helping guys out for free, and got tired of the abuse. But I don't think that generally detracts from the value of the entire Group, and would encourge all here to join over there as well. After all, we really are all on the same side. Admin has always been supportive of this here at Meso.

I guess they would feel more comfortable sitting in a cold waiting room for two hours after their scheduled appointment, only to be rushed through their visit when it's finally their turn and to be told that the problem is all in their head. But don't forget to pay on your way out.

I've had bad experiences with doctors, but I really appreciate the advice of the doctors on this board.

I believe one of the policies of the H2 group is new members messages are moderated for 30 days, so after the 30 days you'll be able to post whatever you want, without the messages being moderated.

I have been a member for over 30 days. To this day, it seems as though all of my messages go through a Board of Directors type process. Nothing gets posted until it is held for 24 hours. Rather than being upset about why I am on TRT without a prescription, they are judgeing me for it.

Well, moderating is one thing, but refusing to post my messages without explanation is another thing. If it weren't for the e-mails I received from Yahoo, telling me that 14 days had passed without the group's moderater taking any type of action with my posts, I would never have raised the issue because I had already forgotten about it.

The guy who runs that group is a total control freak, and not a very good moderator. I get better info here without a lot of repeat questions and other "noise".
