Default Site rotation for gel

Hi - I am new here, but not to TRT. I have been on TRT after losing my testicles in an accident 10 years ago. I am currently on a compounded 2.5% (25mg/g), applying 50mg in the am and 25 mg in the PM. I have a lot of conversion to DHT and E (not E2) and am looking at the issue of rotation of sites. I am small frame and don't have a lot of surface area that does not have body hair on it. The areas I have without body hair are: buttocks, inner upper arm, lower back, inner lower arm, neck, outer abs.

I have been doing a lot of research (Shippen, Hertoghe, Miller, Carruthers) and have read that rotation is important. With 2 grams in the Am and 1 Gram at night, does anyone have a recommendation of what body areas to use and how to rotate?

Thanks.

Why not just drop the gels and do shots Dr. Shippen does this every 3 days to keep his E2 down here is a link to the thread and in this read the links.
Injecting testosterone subcutaneously
I do my shots every 3 days after reading this and my DHT is normal for the first time in yrs. I don't shoot subQ I shoot into my thigh with a small needle 27g 1ml X 1/2 " lg. needle.

Welcome to the board, sorry to hear about your accident. I almost lost mine due a varicocele causing atrophy.

If you don't mind me asking, what have your levels been like in general using this compounded cream?

Hi Megazoid -

for the first few years, they were fine - @ 900ng/dl. I wasn't checking DHT because hair loss wasn't an issue. After a couple of years, I started to notice hair loss and found my DHT @ 3 times the upper limit.

PMgamer - thanks for the reply. I have been considering shots. Also sublinguals. Any experiences with those? Also, it sounds like you are a patient of Dr. Crisler and are very grateful for the help he has given you. It also sounds like you are still having problems. Was Dr. Crisler not able to determine the problems you are having?

No Dr. John is not my Dr. doing sublinguals did not work for me. I just found out I am Secondary do to a bad head injury in a auto accident some 23 yrs. ago. I have been told I am primary for some 23 yrs. Now that we look back at my blood work my tests were screaming Hypopituitary. I just started treating my low Cortisol and Thyroid. It's been a long hard road.

Congrats on figuring out the problem!

What problem did you have with sublinguals? How much were you doing and how often?
