Default can someone please help me!

hello. i am a 20 year old male. i noticed 10 months ago my erections were getting weaker. they slowly declined in strength. 3 months ago i had a virus and i went completely impotent for a week. i was ok for a while, then the decline continued. i had bloodwork done and these are the reults.

TSH- 4.02 (0.34-4.82 uIU/mL)

Thyroid Perox AutoAB 639 (<35 IU/mL)

T3 Total 143 (87-167 ng/dL)
T4 Total 7.7 (4.7-13.3 ug/dL)
Free T4 1.06 (0.89-1.76 ng/dL)
Free T3 3.45 (2.3-4.2 pg/mL)

DHEA Sulfate 237 18-29 years old (110-510mcg/dL)
Vit D, 25 hydroxy 25 (30-100ng/mL)
testosterone- 418 (200-800)

my tsh a few weeks prior to this was at 6. the endo i saw looked at these results and said your back in range. he said we dont treat unless tsh is at 10.

my only syptom is very weak erections. can my thyroid be doing this? also the antibodies...are they doing anything to cause me my symptoms?

currently i am taking vit d3.

if anyone can please help on what to do and whats going on i would greatly appreciate it please. i have no idea on how to look at these numbers and have no where to go.

thank you.

I wouldn't be surprised that your thyroid is part of the problem. Unless I'm mistaken you have high antibodies. I don't know much about thyroid and erections, but turns of people here with problems seem to have underlying subclinical hypothyroidims and hypoadrenalism. Is sexual dysfunction your only symptoms?

weak erections are my only/main symptom. if i didnt have the erection issue then i would not worry about anything. no significant loss in energy. a little low on the sex drive but that could be due to my awareness of weak erections.

Thyroid Perox AutoAB 639 (<35 IU/mL) indicates that you have an autoimmune thyroid disease. It`s genetic; do others in your family have thyroid disease? While this is not currently a problem as evidenced by your FT3 levels it will likely become so in the future as your youthful vigor wanes. Remember this and check your thyriod levels yearly. Doubt that this is related to your current libido problem- FT3 is th main player here and its still ok.

As compared to what? Just because 14.7% of the study complained of weak erections, or whatever, doesnt mean anything unless you compare it to the same thing in the population as a whole.
Find the link to the study, post it and I`ll read it and give my opinion if you like.
But again, your thyroid hormones are in the normal range. I admire your endeavor to confirm your convictions but you cant rewrite the medical facts. This shit aint based upon guessing and wanna be: its based upon real life and death data.

Thyroid blood tests in normal range do not exclude hypothyroidism IMO, especially when his TSH is around 4 and has been around 6 + high antibodies.

yeah thats what i dont understand. my thyroid levels are in "normal" range. yet my tsh is at 6. for ideal optimal function i was told it should be at 1. so why is my body signaling for a lot more hormone? plus the antibodies are so high.

i know everyones bodys are different. someone can have hypo symptoms with a tsh of 3 while another wont see them until 10.

the study is based on 14 hypo patients which is basically useless. but i have no other medical condition thats why im curious as to maybe this is what went wrong with me.

Get your prolactin levels tested. Have you used anything previously that you are not telling us? Your thyroid could be causing a problem, but its hard to say from these results. The thyroid is tricky, because from these results it is still working, so it can be up and down. How are other symptoms, are you able to sleep at night? Are you under stress? What about your energy levels? List everything you feel going wrong with you.
