Default Steroids and Cancer Drugs

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction or at least give me a few ideas.

Thalidomide (brand name: Thalomid) is often used to treat aggressive cancers. Treatment sometimes combines this drug with steroids, but I am not concerned with getting or affording steroids.

Thalidomide treatment generally costs no more than $50 a month overseas. It costs almost $5,000 a month in the U.S. (thank you FDA! ) and if you have no insurance you are screwed.

Many hospitals in lower income areas do not carry the drug because it is so expensive, but they will administer it to you if you can procure it.

I am not asking for anyone's source. I am just asking for ideas.

Thanks,
Dan

Get a Dr. to write you a script for it then find a source you trust overseas to get it for you. You might pay someone that has an open pharmacy in their country $50 to get it and send it to you plus the cost of the medicine. Is it available in Mexico? As long as you have a script that is legit here you will probably run into less trouble if caught and I don't think the Feds would give you to much trouble w/a cancer drug anyway.

Well, this isn't just any cancer drug. It was banned in the 1960s after being linked to the cause of "flipper babies" (pardon the un-PC phrase), but now it has been reintroduced as a cancer drug. I think the Feds will confiscate even if I have a prescription and why I think I cannot find it online.
