Thanks for the help so far.

I have started Repronex (75 IU FSH + 75 IU LH per vial).

But I have 2 quick questions:

(1) I was told to take 2 vials per week - is this correct ?

(2) Will taking exogenous FSH not further suppress my pituitary's ability to make its own endogenous FSH ???

Thanks for any help !!!

Will taking exogenous MHG (FSH + LH) not further suppress my pituitary's ability to produce its own endogenous FSH ???

Course but that will bounce back fairly quickly after you take some clomid.

So is clomid MORE effective if there is (or has recently been) exogenous FSH around, rather than if no FSH is present ?

The reason why I am asking is because clomid (+ beta-hCG) was ineffective in stimulating my pituitary to make FSH; so now I have started HMG.

Thanks again for your help. My wife wanted our 3rd baby, like yesterday, and she is royally pissed that I took enough exogenous testosterone to shut my pituitary down (and remains down 8 weeks after I stopped the test).

Clomid @ 100mg after 5 to 7 days doubled LH outut and increased FSH by 20 to 50%.
That is effective id say.

For you to be able to get her pregnant LH needs to be there to stimulate the leydig cells to produce sperm.
FSH needs to be in there to stimulate the sertoli cells to manufacture sperm.
Intra-testicular testosterone (ITT) needs to be there to make the sperm work.
So, if you have endogenous production of testosterone, your testosterone levels will come back long before your ability to procreate.

But, HMG has either 75/75 FSH/LH or 150/150 FSH/LH, so as you can see, this will stimulate both the sertoli cells and the leydig cells. Once your testosterone levels become in the normal range you can drop the HCG/HMG and continue with clomid and nolva.
You will need all three in there to protect your nuts from excess estrogen caused by the HCG/HMG.

Once you are done with that, then you can try some proviron, and I think it would be a good idea to use l-arginine right now too, as well as some zinc at night before bed on an empty stomach.

Or, you can do nothing and let things return normally but that might take up to a year from your last jab.
With the HCG/HMG, clomid, nolva in the mix, you would not be able to speed things along any faster.
They use both HMG and clomid for fertility in men.
