TRT: 3rd shot and feeling great...

...unfortunately, I have a feeling it's only going to last a few days. Then I'll be feeling like crap again. Does it ever get to the point where you stop looking forward to your test shots to feel better, and start looking forward to them to maintain the good feeling you already have?

I'm also wondering, at 125mg per week, when will I notice testicular shrinkage? It's still early on in the treatment, but I keep grabbing myself and checking.

That's about the dosage I'm taking weekly and I have noticed that the last two days of the week I'm feeling a "slowdown" and want my next shot. I'll speak to my endo about this when I see him later this month and also comment on my 1/2 sized testicles!

Adding HCG 250 IU's on the 5th and 6th days after your T shot will get you over the hump and keep you feeling up until the next shot. Some men's testis get small long before they even find out they have low T. But Doing the HCG will keep them up.

I thought the testicles shrinkage was caused by the TRT?

In my case the testicle shrinking has got to have been a result of the TRT as they were the same size they had always been until I started TRT. Interestingly, both my wife and I agree that the penis is somewhat larger now so perhaps it's a good trade? . Can this really be true? It's not a perception of a harder erection it really seems to have gotten bigger.

Men that are Primary meaning there Testis are getting a lot of LH and FSH but can't make the T. Many a time there first test is below 150 for Total T and there testis are small.

Yes the penis can seem bigger but it is not. In the soft state it will hang longer. And when hard will be harder so this makes it seem bigger.

OK...my testes are of average size. My wife agrees. I tried only HCG to get things going but it didn't work. After being on TRT it seems to be working little by little. After 3 weeks no change in teste size. Just wondering when I MIGHT start noticing a difference or if it will be noticable?

first off,you seem to be pre occupied with the thought of testicle shrinkage and halt to the benefits of T shots. get both those thoughts out of your head or you will experience both(at least in your head). 125mgs can reduce testiclat size over time of course. why,your hypothalymus detects sufficient amounts of circulating androgens through the T shots.in order to try and maintain a hormonal balance, the brain stops sending signals to produce LH,which stimulates the testes into producing testosterone. if the testes are'nt stimulated and not working,they atrophy to a degree. just as an arm that has been in a cast will atrophy from lack of use. hcg twice per week in very small dosages will mitigate this problem. also,why 125mgs and not 100? i always opt for the lowest dosage possible. remember,higher T can bring Estrogen levels too high and that will hurt libido so get your esradiol levels checked as well.
