Default TRT and HCG at 27

I have been on and off TRT for around a year now. A Urologist put me on because of low T results, I switched docs and the new Urologist took me off of TRT for one month after 5 months of treatment to check my natural T levels. New blood work showed T at 220's (really low), so he put me back on. Two months later I go see a Endocrinologist who says a month was not a long enough amount of time to let my body start producing my natural T levels again. So, once again I am going off HRT after 2 more months of being on. This time the Endocrinologist says he want to retest after four months. So, my first questions is: How long does it take your body to start producing normal T levels after TRT? Next: I just started weekly HGC injections because my wife and I are trying to have another kid. The Endocr. says to go off that too. So, next question is: Doesn't HGC help kickstart the natural process? Im only 27 years old and have no idea what happended to my natural T levels. I have two children already and can almost pinpoint the timeframe that I started feeling the fatigue of low T. I wanna know why? and that is the reason for going to so many different docs, most so far just want to stick me on TRT and not try to figure out the underlying problem. Any suggestions????

WTF run from them Dr.'s what a bunch of dumb a**'s once you start TRT you are not going to go back to where you started before TRT. I for the life of me and my Dr. can't under stand where they get this crap. It's not in any of the book or guild lines on low testosterone.

In the 25 yrs, that I have been on TRT every time I see a new Dr. they want to send me to see an Endo and I tell them Endo's are only good for low sugar they are not good Dr.'s for low T. The bottom of the range for low T levels is about 241 and if your labs show you at 242 an Endo would tell you your OK in range. I have seen 7 Endo's when I first got sick with this say in the first 10 yrs and each one would not look at my labs that were done and all wanted me to stop TRT so they could do a Base Line Test there is not such thing after starting on TRT. You need to do this before TRT to see if one needs TRT. All they need to do is look at your first set of labs. All they found out doing this to me is how dam sick they made me. I ended off work on sick leave each time and they still did not get this right telling me I am Primary this messed up my life for 23 I later found out I am not Primary but I am Secondary.

Tell he Dr. that sent you to this Uro to work with Dr. John over the phone to test and treat you he dose this all you need is a Dr. your seeing that is willing to do this. And he will learn about this on your dime. Go to All Things Male - Center for Men's Health or fly out and see him you only need to see him once then he can treat you by Email.

You just can't go on TRT then later stop and go back to were you were before and do labs to find out why your low. In all the 25 yrs I have had this problems never met one guy that did this.

Well, even if you do find out why you are low it is pretty hard to correct the problem naturally. Assuming you are secondary, a good lifestyle and diet are youre best bets. At 27, you do not want to be on trt if you do not have to. If you cant raise your levels above 220 though, you will need trt.

My family doc is the one who discovered the low T, he sent me to a urologist and no questions asked the uro placed me on T injections for 3 months, i asked him what could have happened to send my level so low, he says "sometimes these things just happen", after 3 months he asked how i felt, i told him fine, next he wanted me to try the gel (testim), I did this for two months and finally switched docs, anyway, long story short no doc gave any answers to my questions, just rushed to place me on TRT. I wish I had researched it a little deeper months ago!

Thank you for the info, I will check it out

Your very young to have this probelm if you never did steroids best to see if one of the Dr.'s you see will work with Dr. John over the phone he will test and treat you and if you want to come off TRT to see if your body will make it's own T he is the Dr. to try this with he is your best bet. All Things Male - Center for Men's Health or driver or fly to Mi. to see him then he can treat you by Email.

Assuming your testes have the ability to produce testosterone then HCG will help get them back up to speed. Having said that, it sounds like "up to speed" is not enough in your case.

I just received my most recent blood work in the mail and the notes on it say I have low iron levels and that I need to see a Hematologist now. i always thought low iron was a womens problem. Does this shed any light? Do low test deficiency and iron deficiency generally go together?
