Default Trouble with ED in the morning and generally no problems in the evening:/

I have alot of trouble with ED in the morning and never the morning wood, and then generally no problems towards evening. I am doing injections with HCG and dont know my lab results until I see my doc next week. Has this happened to anyone else?

And E2 moves fast.
A cut and paste of a post from the H2 group.

I've never heard anyone else talk about such a quick result. How
quickly is aromotase produced and how long is its half life?
Similarly how long is E2 half life?

Hmm. Looking around - -

http://content.karger.com/ProdukteDB/produkte.asp?

e=9923.pdf
The apparent half-life of E2 after discontinuing a transdermal E2
patch is 2.7 h or 161 min.

Wow! that is quick. And from the arimidex prescribing pamphlet:

Pharmacodynamics
Effect on Estradiol: Mean serum concentrations of estradiol were
evaluated in multiple daily dosing trials with 0.5, 1, 3, 5, and 10
mg
of ARIMIDEX in postmenopausal women with advanced breast cancer.
Clinically significant suppression of serum estradiol was seen with
all doses. Doses of 1 mg and higher resulted in suppression of mean
serum concentrations of estradiol to the lower limit of detection
(3.7
pmol/L).
>The recommended daily dose, ARIMIDEX 1 mg, reduced estradiol by
approximately 70%
>within 24 hours and by approximately 80% after 14 days of daily
dosing. Suppression of
>serum estradiol was maintained for up to 6 days after cessation of
daily dosing with ARIMIDEX 1 mg.

That gives something to think about in dosing.

hold on here, if you use the patch and its removal for baseline, it gets confounded very quickly. Read this quote"The calculated half-lives of elimination after removal of the transdermal 17ß-estradiol patch differ markedly from the biological 17ß-estradiol half-life of 22 min (26). Adipose tissue under the patch functions as a reservoir of 17ß-estradiol. Thus, when the patch is removed, the serum 17ß-estradiol level is a reflection of diffusion of stored 17ß-estradiol and its metabolism. note the biological half-life of 22 minutes! That is even more remarkable. The only fly in the ointment is the 24 hours to 70% suppression. It would be nice to see that graphed over time since if it is a linear reduction, 30 min would result in ~1.5% reduction.

This all started when I posted at the H2 group that when my E2 is to high I get panic attacks in the middle of the night. And I found out taking a .5 mgs of Arimidex will give me faster relief from the attack then taking Xanax. A guy posted back to me that Arimidex dose not work that fast. So this other guy did a search and found out it dose work that fast.
