Default vivid dreams, hormonal?

Hotflashes have been going on for about 6 months now, although vivid dreams came out of nowhere about 3 months ago when I went on a diet.

I did food elimination, to see if it was my new diet causing these dreams, and nope.
These vivid dreams have persisted even though I have been off my diet for a month, as a kid I would probly remember my dreams once or twice a week if that, since growing up it would be once a month at most sometimes even months without remembering a dream. I have even had a reoccuring dream that only reoccures about once every 3 months.
now for the past 3 months I have been flooded with dreams, one week I could remember about 6 dreams from that week, what makes it worse is when I do recall a dream I remember them too damn well, off the top of my head I can recall 3 dreams I would of had when I would of been about 8 years old, wich I dont think is normal(or is it?), these arnt nightmares or lucid dreams, just plain dreams about trippy stuff, like being chased by cops or criminals or stuff revolving around something that happened the week before, sometimes with stupid surreal elements.

I was wondering if anyone can relate these to hormone levels, cause it would make sense to me.

Do you have Skype buddy? I just got a USB phone a few day's ago and would love to chat with some of the guy's on the forum.

I have spent most of my life researching and developing neural network based applications and white papers. Along with this i was studying psychology very indepth. During my teenage years it was assumed i suffered from mild autism which gave me a bad social anxiety disorder and depression but the ability to recall data very quickly. I became a bit of an information hound, Researching everything that intrested me. I believe everyone should overcome there fears and utilize every potential skill they have to the fullest.

On the subject of dreams, I have became a bit of the "town" expert among my friends in analyzing dreams but i need to understand a little about the person first. I don't believe their is a "cut and dry" method for dream analyzing. It's based on a serious of Cognetic assocations within that person's head. These are controlled by emotions which testosterone and estrogen hold a strong degree of control over.

Without question i know testosterone (and estrogen) has a huge role to play in dream generation and the "scripting" process. As a side note, some research was done that claimed men suffering from autism have higher than normal serum testosterone levels. It's assumed that autism (in some cases) could be infact be part of the next generation of men. Not sure how "true" this is though.
