It seems that blood tests are mandatory to get a reading on how things are functioning within the body.
Can a few of you please elaborate on the associated costs of the labwork, doctor visits and different meds? I suspect that this is going to cost me a fortune to resolve.

If you go to an Anti-aging Dr. or Dr. Crissler they can code the paperwork so that your insurance will usually pick up the tab. If you tests show you are in Andropause (Menopause for men) then your insurance will probably pay for T-Gel or shots. They will also pay for all associated blood work minus your co-pay. The difference in going to your family Dr. and the Anti-aging Dr. or Dr. Crissler is a couple of things.
1. You will pay cash and have to be reimbursed by insurance where as if you went to your family Dr. co-pay would cover it.
2. Dr. Crissler or a GOOD Anti-aging Dr. will know alot more about how to get your ED/Libido up and going again. Normal Dr.'s are not yet very good with T replacement in men and the ancillary drugs that come along with doing it properly. The are usually quite happy to just give you some Androgel and send you on your way. You might get lucky though and find a D.O in your area that is open and knows about it. You can also go to Dr. Crisslers site and download the info on
TRT and give it to your family Dr. if you have a good relationship with them. He will also work over the phone with them for a fee from you.
