hmm..I didn't know the liver could have that kind of effect on erections or libido. I mentioned it to my urologist who pretty much dismissed it and kept trying to push more TRT on me. My GP is the one that originally found it, and he told me to cut back on carbs for 3 months. I really didn't eat a ton of carbs anyway, but I cut back as much as i could. When I was re-tested again nothing had changed. I guess i'll need to find a liver dr now. Thanks guys.

Liver also helps process your neurotransmitters that will help in testosterone production as well. It could be that excessive estrogen are clogging up the liver resulting in liver congestion. NASH will not be treated by a traditional medical dr because it is not a life threatening conditoin. One would look to sam-e at1200 mgs a day to help flush out your liver. Severe insulin resistance could be causing NASH and this may require sam-e along with proper metformin intervention to help get to balance things out. Being on testostereone can make NASH worse as the build of e2 and their metabolites will just bog down the liver even more. If you are taking care of it with proper eating then next step is to check your insulin and glucose levels in a GITT 3 hour test. One can speculate that you are probably dumping alot of insulin in amount to the carbohydrate you take in. If you are in the east coast then I can help you find the cause of your issue rather then masking it with testosterone making matters worse.
