Hello All, I'm calling on you for help once again although this time not for myself. This one is for my brother-in-law: His symptoms are: O.C.D: everything he owns is spotless Doesn't sleep well Frequent headaches He wakes up at night and needs something sweet to eat Urinates very frequently (during the day as well as wakes up 4-5 times at night) When he was younger (upto his mid 20's or so) he was very thin 140lbs. Now at 35 yrs he's about 210lbs. (But his wife is a good cook- i'm sure he's eating well) He experiences depression off and on- once I remember was pretty bad for a couple months He leads a very busy life: 2 young children, both very active in sports 2 jobs (he feels he needs the second job to pay for the children's activities) Cleans the house, cars, and yard constantly He goes to the gym and over-does it. He'll feel guilty if he doesn't just about kill himself or even worse if he misses a day His doctor put him on paxil (and maybe some other ssri's) but the side effects were too much for him so he stopped. He's been to a urologist who says his prostrate is normal He's been to a sleep clinic and they couldn't find anything He's gone to many doctors and none of them can find anything yet none have checked any hormone levels. What do you think? |

Have his Dr. test his Testosterone levels and make sure his estradiol is tested to. Read the Stickys on testing.
