why dont i cold sweat the day after drinking?

I do know the day after a good drunk your dehydrated.

good point. i do know the less i drink fluids the less i cold sweat. probably not the healthiest thing to do but it does relieve this miserable cold sweating...

Have you had your Thyroid checkes doing labs for TSH, Free T4 and Free T3.

Tell your Dr exactly what you said above, who knows maybe a simple diuretic could solve all your problems. I'm sure thats a terrible feeling getting the cold sweats all the time. I had the cold sweats for about a month coming off a oxycontin addiction from back injury and surgery. I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

Goto a doctor and tell them that, start getting blood tests done, LFTs E2 Cortisol etc.

can someone suggest a complete list of what i should ask for to be checked? also, what is a diuretic and is it something i could look into otc? thanks guys i really appreciate it because it has been my only problem for 7 years and it can stop you in your tracks and really limit your every single move. i saw an endo a year after this started and he said i was fine, never gave me my results but that there was "nothing wrong with me". cant tell you how many times ive heard that from doctors that know there business but not specific to my unique problems...

Some mild diuretics are otc, like diurex, aquaban, some people call them water pills. I know coffee works as a diuretic also.
